Closed starter : @nicoxxb Location: School lounge. Cedar spotted his buddy out of the corner of his eye, he packed up the things he had out into his backpack and made his way over to the chair next to Nico. Something about being around the other boy made Cedar feel less of his usual anxious, awkward self, and made room for him to feel calm, cool and collected. There seemed to be such a genuine friendship and understanding between the two of them, Cedar was sure he'd do anything for Nico, and that he'd go to bat for him anytime, regardless of if the other was in the right or in the wrong. He slumped down, tossing his bag lazily onto the floor and let out an exhausted sigh. "I'm so beyond tired bro." He said while rubbing his temples. "How's your day been?" He asked, but before letting the other speak he held up his hand. "Actually, don't answer that- better question, do you wanna grab some lunch, then shoot the shit?" He asked, smiling.

Seeing her ex would always sting, knowing that they wanted different things and even in the end what she wanted, could never have. She missed him in a way she couldn't miss anybody else, Nico had the kind of magnetic pull on her that she could never sway from. "So, are you going to keep acting like a confused baby when I'm around or are you going to buy me a drink and possibly have me remind you the best way to wake up in the morning?" @nicoxkarvelas

When Graciella had gotten to work early that morning and was changing into her scrubs in the residents’ lounge she had heard of the doctors return. Hearing of that she had barely gotten her scrubs properly on before running down the hospital hallways, still tying her hair up in a ponytail. She had had the bad luck of having the day off when the injured doctors from the plane came back. Of course she cared about all the doctors that were injured, but she had been worried for days about Nico. Although, Nico and Graciella had never actually met without Lexie he was a person that had for many years been nearby Graciella. They were both young and surgical residents. Him being in a plane crash and being missing for days. The whole thing had been surreal, and brought back Graciella to the hospital shooting. That day she did not have the day off. She had been stuck in the pediatrics ward with all the scared children and even come face to face with the actual shooter. Some days doctors, especially surgeons, can feel invinsible, almost like Gods. Today, and days like the shooting, definitely weren’t days like those. These kind of days really made their own mortality real. 

Arriving outside of the patient room belonging to Nico Kim Graciella suddenly got nervous and anxious thoughts filled her head. Graciella stopped hesitatingly outside his room, staring at his name scribbled by the door. 

Was it weird that she was visiting him? Weren’t they close enough for this visit? Was everything visiting him and he wanted time alone? 

Taking a deep breath, she tried to push back the intrusive thoughts. Slowly she raised her hand and carefully knocked a few times before sliding the door open. 

“Nico? It’s Graciella. Can I come in?”

persephone had to miss half the year of her children’s lives since they were born and it was heart breaking. but now that they were older, they were able to fend for themselves she got to see them so much more and she cherished every moment with them. in summer shade she got even more time. making her way to nico’s home she knocked on his door, waiting for him to open. he said he was home and she hoped that was true. she brought his favourite food, because despite everything food was so interesting . “hello, darling!”
