And how would you know? That’s a good idea, seems like you’ve got it all figured out. Well.. I have a couple of options, but I know for sure I want to put some of it aside for Harrison. His doctor is one of the leading doctors in stem cell research in the world, and there’s a surgery that could possibly help him regain feeling in his legs and maybe even walk again.. it’s not guaranteed, but the research has been looking promising. I don’t know, it’s a big decision. You’re sweet, but trust me, there are plenty of things… yeah, okay. It’ll be fine. Just.. ignore anything stupid he says. Which is almost 90% of the things he says.

It was pretty crazy. Thanks, but I mean, we got through it, more or less in one piece. Well, whatever they did, it certainly worked well. It’s definitely different, but obviously it’s worked for them and you, and your sisters. And hey, you’re all alive. That’s a bonus. I like to think that I do.

I hope it turns out well for him, I know it'll be worth it. Well if they're things that I don't know about or see then trust me they won't see or care. Well that's good. I'm sure you're stronger for it now. Yeah, I guess so. I'm not so sure about it working for my sisters, but there's not much I can do about that. Yes, for now we're all alive. You do, I'm an open book.. mostly.

Well we'll have to let them know. I'll have to talk to my family first, but as my parents don't really have real jobs I'm sure it won't matter to them. Yes we could, we should fight to keep the house for ourselves.

I could never do such a thing. Learned that a long time ago. I’m a little bit offended by that, but I’ll ignore it. Hmm, you’re not doing a good job of convincing me not to tell them. Crazy might just look good on you. Kidding, of course. Exactly.. but, it’s what family’s for, to pick us up when we’re down, right? He’s done it for me enough times, so I owe him. 

Oh, gotcha. When are our families coming up here, anyways? Well, that would be interesting, since I don’t plan on leaving this place anytime soon. I mean, this room is huge and there’s free food. What more could I want?

You have no idea how disappointed I am, Adrian. Yeah, that’s a good idea, you could start off your business and all that. I’m still trying to figure out what to spend it on, but I think I’ve already made my decision. Exactly, it’s just insane, they could be using it on so many other things. I just hope they like me, I mean.. what if they don’t? I could be the one exception. I’m probably just psyching myself out. Oh Christ, Harrison’s going to be so terrible. I apologize in advance for anything he says or does to you.

  Yeah, it’s good to know at least. Well, our dad died at the same time that Harrison had his accident and for a while it wasn’t looking good… and then while Harrison was having all of his surgeries something happened with Lawson and.. it was basically the worst week of my life. Oh, it must have been good that they didn’t try to talk about it and all that. Really? That’s actually really cool of them.. I mean, it’s good you didn’t, but they seem pretty cool. Too little, too late. I had a feeling you’d say that.

Probably not as disappointed as I am, Juliette. Yeah, or just invest in somebody's that I know will actually make money, and then invest that money into my own business, or something. I'm not sure yet. Oh yeah, what's that? But I guess we can't really complain. They will, there's nothing not to like. You are psyching yourself out. It's alright, I get it. Big brother and all.

Everything happened in a week? Geez, that sounds pretty rough. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Yeah, they were pretty nice to have around. They're really cool, they basically let us do whatever we want, and hope we like don't end up dead. I don't know, it's different but I see where they're coming from. You know me so well.

Oh, I see, so you whipped them into shape? Teenage girls aren’t completely unbearable all the time, so that’s good. Character building is always good. Oh, then why wouldn’t I want to thank them? That’d be pretty amusing. Yeah, it is really good, and he’s made a lot of progress.. it’s just hard, I guess, having to see him like this. He was always my rock and now I have to be his. It’s not like I don’t want to, it’s just..different, is all. I don’t know if I’m even making sense. 

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that. I guess it’s spring break if they have siblings in school so it’s a good time. And we all need to take a break sometimes. Ha, they probably have. I wouldn’t blame them.

Yes, of course. Never underestimate the power of an older brother. No, just like a good percentage of the time. It definitely is nothing to complain about, at this point. Because they're going to drive me crazy, and then maybe I'll lose all of my patience. I understand, I can't imagine what my sisters would feel if they ever saw me going through something like that. Big brothers are supposed to be the rock, it's kind of a shock to see them.. not be. 

Nope, nothing wrong with it. I kind of debated going home for a while, but decided I'd see them soon enough anyways. We sure do. At this point they probably already made another casting call.

Oh, really? I didn’t? And what would happen if I had said that? Me too.. I honestly have no idea what I’m even going to do with that much money… okay, maybe that’s a lie, but it’s hard to imagine actually having that much. It just.. doesn’t feel real, like you said. Are you doubting me? You can tell me not to get nervous, but that won’t help. I’m sure they’re awesome, but that doesn’t really help either. 

That’s really horrible, I’m sorry. I can’t imagine.. okay, yeah, I guess we both have long stories, then. I got a bit of a taste of life without them and… it was absolutely terrifyingly hell. They can be annoying, but you can’t live without them. Oh, too late, you’ve already fed my ego. They are, but don’t take my word for it.

Nope, you didn't. Well I guess we'll never know, now will we? I really don't know what I'm going to do. Probably invest it, business major and all. And give some to my family, of course. It really doesn't feel real, like who has that much money to just hand out? No.. But there's really no reason to be nervous. My sisters are going to come here and judge me way more than you. And my parents love everybody, so no worries there. I should probably be the nervous one.

It's alright, eventually you realize that people are always there, even if you feel like they aren't.. A bit of a taste? What's that mean? Definitely. I was never more happy about my parents choice in parenting than after everything happened to me. They probably would have let me drop out of school if they'd thought it would help me. Damn. I'm not going to, trust me.

Ah, yes, the ever famous “everything is funnier after two a.m.” disease. Well, at least they weren’t annoying. It could always be worse, I guess. Of course, it was all to help you become the extremely patient person you are today. I suppose I should thank them for that, then. Yeah, he did. Sometimes he “relapses” and gets depressed again, but it’s getting easier to pull him out of that now. 

I knew you would. Nothing at all? Wow, it’s hard to believe that everyone just stayed in their rooms and kept to themselves… I mean, I guess that’s not hard to believe. It’s just weird that the producers didn’t try to step in.. not that I’m complaining.

It was usually pretty annoying, but I usually found a way to get them back one way or another. During the day time they weren't too bad, no. It could definitely always be worse. Yep, character building and all of that good stuff. Don't thank them, then they'll do everything under the sun to test my patience. That's good. As long as he can get pulled out, it's not so bad. One day he'll probably be able to pull himself out.

I know, it is. I guess maybe everyone's just... needed time to themselves? I hear a few people had to go visit home as well, so there's that. I'm pretty sure the producers have nearly given up on all of us at this point.

Okay, maybe occasionally. I hope I get to meet them, but, to be honest, I’m a little nervous about it.

The people who don’t have families.. I don’t know how they do it. It must be so horrible. Well, we are incredibly wise, you know. I didn't say that. And you certainly didn't say that. It still feels pretty unreal to me, I feel like thinking about it too much will somehow make it go away or something. Yeah, maybe. I'm sure you'll get to. You don't need to be nervous, they're nothing to be nervous about.

It definitely is. Ooh, I can’t imagine all the sleepovers.. that would be ridiculously annoying. I don’t know how you survived it, quite honestly. It’s really nice, just… having a break from it all. Well, thanks. I like being here, there are a ton of really cool people. Yeah…. if he didn’t bounce back, I-I don’t know what we’d do. I just know it would be pretty bad.

I’m sorry for my little disappearing act, by the way. Harrison was transferred to a different section of the hospital and had to do a bunch of tests and stuff… anyways, did anything happen while I was gone?

It was, but usually my sisters didn't have too annoying friends, they just got really loud and chose to have like comedy sessions at 4 am. Building patience and all that, remember? Yeah, I guess it's not too bad. Well at least you don't have to worry about that, because he did bounce back.

No worries, I understand. No, I wouldn't say anything happened at all. Seems like this place is pretty much a ghost town at the moment.

Getting Lost || Adrian & Kennedy

Adrian shut the door to his room, patting his pockets down to be sure he had everything he needed. Wallet, cell phone, keys that didn't open anything in the house at all. It had been a while since he'd left his room to actually do something besides eat and shower, something that actually involved another person. It seemed like nobody in the house had even been there for the last week or so, though he didn't exactly mind the time alone. But he and Kennedy had planned to get lost together in what must have been their first ever conversation, so he felt like it was actually time they do something about it.

He took the stairs and made the several twists and turns that would eventually lead him to Kennedy's room, glancing around the empty hallways as he went. He was slightly nervous to be doing something with Kennedy, only because he wasn't exactly sure where they stood at this point. But he knew that Kennedy was one of the only people he really felt like he connected to in the house, and he was happy she was still willing to spend time with him, even if they did actually plan to get lost in LA. Once he reached her door he knocked on it twice, crossing his arms against his chest as he waited for an answer.

You guess? What, my confession isn’t good enough for you? Seriously that’s.. that’s so crazy. I can’t even believe it. $500,000. It seems like I miss all of the announcements here, but I don’t get it. It’s not like I ever leave my room. Ooh, yeah, I get to meet your sisters? That’s exciting. That sounds like a good idea.

Yeah no, that makes sense. I think the loneliness of it all can sometimes be worse than the actual event. Like, you’ll eventually recover from whatever happened, but you can’t help but feel alone through the whole thing and it makes it that much worse. I mean.. I admit, sometimes it does help to just talk about everything, even when I know that the other person is clueless. Sometimes it’s just nice to have someone care enough to listen, even if they don’t understand. It took me a while to realize that, though. At first I didn’t want to see anyone and I barely talked to anyone outside of Harrison and Lawson… it was pretty bad. But hey, live and learn, right? Yeah, but on the off chance that it is I will be prepared.

Well if they decide to grace us with their presence. Also my parents, though I'll probably have to do some convincing there.

Yeah I guess so. I guess the hard part for me is that the one person I always talked to and who always seemed to understand was kind of..unavailable. But my sisters did their best, I mean they were probably the closest thing to knowing what I was going through. Sometimes I felt like they were older than I was through everything. But yeah, you eventually learn that it's better to have people who care and are slightly annoying than have nobody care at all. I'll probably pretend like I don't know who it is just so I can test your prank calling skills.

Yeah, I had my brothers and their group of friends.. so basically I had like ten older brothers, but it was good. It was just what I needed. I like being here, though, so I can make friends without them knowing everything about me like back home, yknow? I don’t think I’d get annoyed at that but alright, I’m happy to have you, really. I definitely agree, it was.. collapsed for a while but we always bounce back. That’s true.. it took him a while to find that reason, but I think he’s getting it back now. Thanks, that really means a lot.

Well that's good then. Sometimes I wish my sisters didn't get along with other girls so well. I swear it was never ending sleepovers up until I moved out. Yeah, I can understand how getting a break from that is probably much needed for you. And you seem to be doing fine making friends, like I've said. I mean you say that now but you never know. Yeah, I mean really we're usually given no choice but to bounce back. I'm glad to hear it, and no problem.

Wow I feel like I've been a really bad admin/roleplayer in general these last few days but tomorrow is the first day of spring break and it's also my family reunion so I probably can't be on much. Depending on how long my family stays I may not be able to be on much all week but I'll do my best.
