    Perhaps it was due to the wind that day, the reasoning for what would have been a nasty fall and red bruises to her exposed knees. Tripping on a frosty winter’s morning wasn’t certainly an enviable start, was it? It was a shameful display if anything. However, a flicker of black soon fills her vision and the young girl realizes that the harsh asphalt never reaches her.

   Alice blinked twice, confused, before locking eyes with an incredible and beautiful green. ❝ Hah? ❞ She says, unceremoniously and as unladylike as any day. Her violet eyes take in the stranger’s – the boy’s, she realizes – and she feels the prickle of embarrassment traveling up her neck. While still collecting herself, he set her back and warned her to be more careful. She could hardly process this, though, as she had gotten very much distracted by his–

   —cat ears?

  ❝ Not.. human? ❞ Alice’s voice was obviously confused. She then shook her head back and forth and pointed at him, ❝ no, that’s not what I meant– why did you save me! ❞ It wasn’t a question and more an accusation. ❝ I was fine, boy! ❞

     Chat Noir couldn’t help but let out a laugh. This girl sure had a way with words.. “Au contraire! I’m quite human, in fact! This is just a costume.” He beamed at her, his smile looking as feline as ever- not particularly helping his case. “I’m just the purrfect combination of boy and cat!” He flexed his arms a bit, showing off.

     “Anyway... I’m sure you could’ve handled yourself just fine but...” He gave her a wink, “I’m never one to let a lady struggle! Especially one as beautiful as yourself.” Chat Noir was laying his compliments on pretty thick, today.. Maybe he just wanted some friends in the new city.. 

     Fans wouldn’t hurt either.. It’s not like he really had many of those.

     He bowed towards the smaller of the two, “I’m sorry if I offended you, princess.. I would never mean to do such a thing, I only wanted to help you.” 

               “Oh! I feel rude not introducing myself--!”

     His smile softened, and he extended his hand towards her, “My name is.. --Well you can call me Chat Noir. I’m a hero... here to keep civilians in this city safe! Pretty PAW-some right?”

Hey everyone!! I’ve been super inactive the past few weeks because of tests and health issues, but I’m gonna get to replies tonight and probably make another starter call since it’s been so long!! I’m sorry for the inactivity!

     Adrien couldn’t help but stare... How was he able to be a model.. When people like THIS existed on the planet?! He was so amazed, if only he oozed half as much charm and charisma as this guy on a day to day basis. The younger boy didn’t know what to say, but he had to say something..-

               “You’re gorgeous..”

     He couldn’t believe the words that came out of his mouth... He was a total embarrassment...

     Adrien spoke up, trying to get the other’s attention, “Know any place like a laundromat or something around here...?” He was soaking wet from the rain that had started suddenly, and his apartment was a ways away...

     Chat rushed forward, catching the girl before she hit the ground. “You were almost hurt there... Good thing I have cat-like reflexes, huh?” He smirked, looking down towards the girl. He raised an eyebrow at her, before setting her firmly on the ground. “Please, be more careful next time...”

               “Hey.. You shouldn’t swing heavy objects like that around...”

     Adrien looked at the blonde, feeling a bit worried... She had a heavy wrench and someone had to say something, right? He didn’t want to see someone get hurt, especially herself... That’d really throw a WRENCH into her plans for the day, he was sure... hah-

               “You could seriously hurt someone.. You should be careful!”

          Trying to get rid of him? Not exactly, it’s not as if she isn’t excited to see him or anything of the sort. In fact, she’s quite glad that he’s here. Still, if he made it a habit of always trying to stick around her, she could never carry out her duties as she had been doing. 

          Plus…with how he acts, as glad as she is to see him, that cocky attitude of his was really off-putting if she were around him for too long. ❝ Right…I’m sure people line up just to see those. ❞ That was sarcasm, obviously, not that he could tell. She continues walking, rolling her eyes as his silly antics as she tried her best to slip away from him. It wasn’t working, he wasn’t going to let up anytime soon. And she can’t really think of another excuse to get away from him, so just…humoring him for now should be fine. ❝ I don’t have a date, no. ❞ 

          ❝ I don’t know how destiny comes into play with this either. ❞ If anything, it was  pure coincidence that he had found her in a city as large as this one. ❝ I was just going to go home…actually. ❞ As close as home could get to being here anyway. ❝ Shouldn’t you be looking for Ladybug? ❞ She’s unaffected by his flirtations, still playing it completely cool as she walks along, arms crossed over her chest now. Things like that may work on other girls, but she knows this cat better than other people do.

               “Ahh... My princess, of course. I knew you’d think so.”

     Chat flexed his arms a few more times, showing off for the beautiful girl. She was obviously impressed by him. Poor, sweet Marinette... She was falling for his charms, “Do you like my CATrisma..?” he chuckled, before grinning widely at the ravenette. His tail swished back and forth, he didn’t plan on leaving Marinette anytime soon... But then again, he didn’t have much time either. 

     Suddenly, something Marinette said spiked his interest to the utmost peak. “L-Ladybug..?” He stammered out. “She’s here too...?” He couldn’t believe it. His lady. His one and only... She was here as well! “Oh, I had no idea there were two beautiful princesses in this city!” He felt so giddy suddenly... And a little selfish. He could only use his powers twice a day for ten minutes, and by using it to save people.. He’d be missing out on time to find Ladybug. He was a hero first and foremost- but even so..

               “Maybe you’re right... I should find her.”

     The blonde trailed off, thinking for a moment, almost completely stopping his movements. He wanted to see Ladybug... But it would be best to wait- besides he was with Marinette right now and didn’t have much time left. He shook his blonde locks, freeing his mind from the thought of His Lady for a moment. He quickly chirped up again, “But I could never leave you, Princess! I’ll have to find Ladybug later. So.. Where are you stayin’ hmm? I could escort you home! I hear this City is quite dangerous. I could even carry you there...” 

     Chat wiggled his eyebrows at Marinette, laying the charm on thick once again. He wanted to make sure the ravenette would be safe.. But at the same time, it wouldn’t hurt to “accidentally” bump into Marinette as Adrien... Having a friend in the city while being a civilian would be more convenient, and a lot more personal... Maybe he could finally get to know her a little better...

Classes started up this week so I’ve been a bit busy but... Anyone care for a sentence starter from Adrien or Chat..? No cap for this one.

     Adrien couldn’t help but notice the ravenette as he sat inside the coffee shop. Her eyes were bright, and reminded him of, well... Himself. She looked very feline and he found that absolutely fantastic. He wondered if this was just her normal attire. It was a bit out of the ordinary, but then again.. He was just thrown into some City he had never heard of, powers taken from him... Anything could happen at this point!

     One thing Adrien’s alternate persona had that he didn’t was loads of self-worth and confidence; he found it hard to gain in everyday life... Maybe this other cat-like girl could teach him a thing or two... Even though, mustering up the courage to even talk to her felt nearly impossible. But Adrien knew he was a friendly guy. He could do it.

     The blonde stepped outside, taking a few confident strides towards her, trying to channel his Chat Noir. It helped in situations like these... “Hello there!” He said, smiling brightly. “How are you... feline.. today?” He shrugged, sheepishly and his eyes widened after realizing how foolish that sounded. He didn’t know this girl- you can’t just throw out cat-puns to someone you don’t even know... Especially in normal attire. 

     What the hell was wrong with him?! Thank god Chat Noir didn’t have a name for himself in this city... Thank god ADRIEN didn’t have a name for himself in this city. That was so embarrassing!! “I mean’t-- Feeling!” He laughed to himself, hoping that was enough to save his ass. “Sorry, I don’t even know you... I’m kind of bad with this sort of thing...” He trailed off. This introduction went from awful to horrible.

          She hadn’t meant to scream, it’s just when you almost trip and fall that you sometimes can’t control how loud you are. It’s thanks to that that people had stopped to look at her…great, unnecessary attention drawn to herself for the day. This is exactly what she needed. Things can’t possibly get any worse than this, truly.

          Or at least that’s what she had thought moments earlier before seeing the face of someone whom she was very familiar with. Almost too familiar with, really. Of all the people whom had to end up in this city, it just had to be Cat Noir. And she can’t help but mentally groan at the thought of being followed around again (though his help was always much appreciated when needed!) because she knew what was to come later.

          ❝ Cat Noir! ❞ There’s a type of enthusiastic fake excitement that she’d long come up with before all of this just for when she saw him in particular. After all, she couldn’t be visibly annoyed with him when she, as Marinette, had no reason to be.  ❝ Yep that was me! Haha…almost took a bad fall there. But I’m all right, no worries! ❞ And she’s inching away from him slowly. Slowly, because she didn’t want to give off the impression that his company wasn’t wanted.

          ❝ But uh…! I have to go…places. Important places. I have an important place to be right now! ❞ That’s a lie, the only place she’d been headed was home right now, but if she told him that then that’d give him even more of a reason to stick around.  ❝ It was nice seeing you, bye! ❞

               “Me-OUCH! If I didn’t know any better... I’d think you were tryin’ to get rid of me..”

     Chat Noir slid next to the girl, matching her side-steps with his own. “But I know that’s not the case!” He chuckled to himself. “As if someone could hate bein’ around...” He trailed off before jumping in front of her, flexing his arms, “These babies...” His green eyes flickered over to her’s as he smirked. 

               “Anymeow... I have a few minutes to spare!”

     The blonde let a cheeky smile adorn his features as he took a step back from Marinette, not wanting to invade her personal space too much. Chat Noir was a gentleman-- Well, actually... He wasn’t. But he did respect a woman’s boundaries! He took his tail-like belt in his hands, slowly spinning the end of it. “What kind of important things do you have goin’ on..? A date perhaps?” He wiggled his eyebrows at her, “Because I’d say it feels like destiny that we met here...” 

     Sometimes he couldn’t believe the confidence he had as Chat Noir... His alternate persona could say almost anything and he never felt embarrassed by it. He shot her a wink, definitely thinking he was smooth. Although Adrien didn’t know Marinette very well... He knew she acted more freely around Chat Noir rather than his civilian-self. Maybe she had a crush on the cat... He wouldn’t blame her. Chat Noir was oozing with attractiveness, puns, and he was suave! He was the whole package.

     Surprised? Yeah. You could say that...

     Upon hearing a scream Adrien had quickly jumped into action, his heroic tendencies coursing through his veins. If there was someone in danger nearby, he’d be there. It was something of a reflex by now-- And maybe it partially had to do with seeing his lovely lady in red, however.. He found another princess at the scene. The shock left him breathless.

               “Mar--”

     He began, but stopped himself. Although this definitely wasn’t Paris, he wasn’t about to just go and lose his cool. No. Chat Noir had an image to uphold. “Ahh... Princess!” He purred, moving closer towards the female. His tail swished along with his movements. It was nice to see a friendly face, although Marinette was none the wiser. 

     And then he remembered-- “Were you the one I heard screaming, Princess...?” He had to act fast, Chat Noir didn’t have as much time as usual to help in this City... He looked distressed now. Not only about the time limit, but about Marinette’s safety as well, assuming the scream came from her.
