Not only Heaven, but people on earth will see the difference between the righteous and the wicked. And that is one of the spiritual lessons we have to see and understand about the coronavirus. What happened at the beginning of that virus? As soon as people heard about that virus, many people ran to the stores to hoard, of all things, toilet paper. Toilet paper became a symbol of that virus. Pictures of white toilet flashed all around the world. Toilet paper marked the wicked. People hoarding toilet paper showed their greed. They marked themselves. The world could tell who was looking out for themselves and days later could see those who placed the welfare of others before themselves.

3 Angels in Revelation 14

The messages given by the three angels in Revelation chapter 14 are a brief summary of the judgment process in Heaven and how that process effects this world. This video shows how you cannot separate one message from the others. Those three messages were designed to be given to this world as a whole. Basically those messages lead us to the beginning of the judgment process, the end of one phase of God’s judgment process, and the final outcome of that judgment process.

We know mountains represent both governments and religions. God called people to His holy mountain, as well as other religions having their own particular mountains. But what mountains will be made low, or level? If we look back a few verses we see God already provided the answer in the introduction to the chapter. Luke 3:1-2 It was now the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius, the Roman emperor. Pontius Pilate was governor over Judea; Herod Antipas was ruler over Galilee; his brother Philip was ruler over Iturea and Traconitis; Lysanias was ruler over Abilene. (2) Annas and Caiaphas were the high priests. At this time a message from God came to John son of Zechariah, who was living in the wilderness. Are any of these world powers any longer? Where is their influence now? There is one verse in between these. When we look at it we see God’s plan revealed.

The Description of Jesus This is one of the most amazing lessons in the Book of Revelation. This small section in chapter one is a rather lengthy description of Jesus. What a lot of people don’t realize is, this description is broken down and distributed among the seven churches. Why is it broken down and distributed? That repeats the lesson we have already read about and covered in the previous chapter. Gather all the facts and study them. Here we will list the example Jesus gave us to study. Revelation 1:12-16 MKJV (12) And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. (13) And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands. And in the midst of the seven lampstands I saw One like the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the feet, and tied around the breast with a golden band. (14) His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And His eyes were like a flame of fire. (15) And His feet were like burnished brass having been fired in a furnace. And His voice was like the sound of many waters. (16) And He had seven stars in His right hand, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword. And His face was like the sun shining in its strength.

Jesus used the same literally progression all successful writers use. Jesus first described a scene, then the events that occurred in that scene. Of course we are supposed to compare the Tabernacle built on this planet to the actual Heavenly Sanctuary containing God’s throne. The Tabernacle consisted of symbols. People have been studying those symbols for generations. So why not study John’s eyewitness account of Heaven?

How to Approach God’s Throne I felt I had to take a break from Revelation to add in a sort of educational chapter. After reading and writing about Revelation chapter 4, I asked a number of people if it was still possible to approach God’s throne. For the most part, people didn’t want to answer, or didn’t know the answer. But a few did. Approaching God’s throne is a personal matter. Each person has their own unique way of approaching God’s throne. Some people skip God’s throne while still meeting personally with Jesus while others grasp onto the theme in Hebrews chapter 4 telling us to, “boldly stand before God’s throne.” Let’s face it, personally talking with God and Jesus have been a rather obscure subject to say the least. Either people will agree or disagree. Few people will look at the subject of approaching God’s throne and a learning opportunity. There are a few, but that is a minority of people. An even smaller minority are those who want to share their moments at God’s throne. Those people are few and far between.

I hear people complaining about a delay all the time. Well when your name comes up for judgment, how much time will God need to consider your case?

If there were 108 billion people in this world, how long will it take to judge them? The judgment process began in October 1844. This is 2019. That period covered 175 years. In terms of minutes, the total would come to 175 years x 365 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes = 91,980,000 minutes. We had better look at seconds. 91,980,000 minutes x 60 = 5,518,800,000 seconds. So how much time has been spent on each of the 108 billion people who have lived in this world? 5,518,800,000 seconds / 108,000,000,000 = 0.0511 seconds. That is 1/20th of a second to judge each person who ever lived in this world. I know we are talking about God who obviously thinks a lot faster than us, but give His a break. I hear people complaining about a delay all the time. Well when your name comes up for judgment, how much time will God need to consider your case?

Why do you think it was important for Jesus to issue a warning? Jesus was writing to family when He wrote Revelation.

Compare Revelation to the other books John has written. John’s Gospel told us about how the Holy Spirit worked behind the scenes in Jesus’ ministry on earth. John’s letters talk about Jesus’ love and concern for this planet. Revelation is no different. It is a combination of Jesus’ love and the Holy Spirit working in your ministry. When your ministry in this world parallels Jesus’ ministry in Heaven, you will know it. You will feel it. You will know Jesus’ true witnesses in a heartbeat. All the doubts and confusion about Revelation will disappear. You will hear God’s voice and feel His seal upon you.
