Good morning 🌄
Ooh, these two fluffy flops, warming their bellies 🥰
Remarque hits too close to home, I'm afraid. Not a play I'd choose on my own tbh.
Performance was great, 2 hours without break and you don't even notice. It's just too heavy of a theme.
Another sleepless night under the sounds of explosions. Mom had a panic attack and I can't help her with anything other than guide her breathing with a calm and steady voice over the phone.
Connection is bad, she went down to the bomb-shelter. Neighboring house in her complex was hit. I guess morning will be spent cleaning the debris and helping out with clothes and food and whatever else is needed.
That's if morning comes. For some it often doesn't.

I don't understand how people can swallow this book in a couple of hours.
I know it's tiny. But every chapter, sometimes even a paragraph or a sentence, makes you feel and think. And don't you need time to digest? To thoroughly taste it, compare your feeling about it with whatever it is the author projects?
I pause every couple pages, just to appreciate whatever it is that was just planted in my soul to see if it'll take root.
"Song at the Beginning of Autumn"by Elizabeth Jennings
Now watch this Autumn that arrives
In smells. All looks like Summer still;
Colours are quite unchanged, the air
On green and white serenely thrives.
Heavy the trees with growth and full
The fields. Flowers flourish everywhere.
Proust who collected time within
A child’s cake would understand
The ambiguity of this –
Summer still raging while a thin
Column of smoke stirs from the land
Proving that Autumn gropes for us.
But every season is a kind
Of rich nostalgia. We give names –
Autumn and Summer, Winter, Spring –
As though to unfasten from the mind
Our moods and give them outward forms.
We want the certain, solid thing.
But I am carried back against
My will into a childhood where
Autumn is bonfires, marbles, smoke;
I lean against my window fenced
From evocations in the air.
When I said Autumn, Autumn broke.
In my mind asters are always associated with the start of the fall season 🍂
Almost midnight. My kitchen smells of rhubarb/plum pastry that's siting in the oven.
The sky is clear, despite almost full moon, the stars are visible. The Big Dipper, or the Great Bear as it's also called, is shining bright right in front of my window.
Somehow August often gives out early autumn vibes to me. Almost as if I'm trying to find the signs of it's approach.
Dandelions peek from under the snow. Spring in the mountains is stunning. Well, every season in the mountains is stunning, but seeing first bursts of colour after long winter is always a special treat.

Every time I look at him, there's no denying the fluffy fuzzy feeling inside.
How come something so cute can even exist and yet we still have hatred, wars, cruelty just for fun, pettiness and infamy?
