leader-of-team-go:
A giant alarm began going off in his head the more the youngest Triton rattled off. SHE KNOWS SHE KNOWS SHE KNOWS. The alarm couldn’t get any louder but he did his best to play it off. If he was to reveal anything he wanted Attina to be the first to hear it from him. “I’d say that would be up to her. When she’s ready of course. If she wanted my help I would help h–” He paused when Arielle mentioned marriage. “I–don’t think she’d agree to that. That seems like something you and the twins would do.” His head was spinning from this whole conversation but he laughed it off with his joyous laugh. “Yeah I’ll talk with her since some of trainees might come from the school, and I don’t want to step on any toes. She’s always been one for protecting those who need it. So I can’t imagine I’ll get much push back.” He blinked at her for a moment. “Do I want to know what a hot person summer is?”
Arielle’s little evil grin only grew and she could only channel one person to respond to Harrison’s statement. “So you agree? You think it does have what it takes to have my sister.” There it was. She had waited years to quote Regina George in that moment and that just made her all the more accomplished. She was gonna do her best to rope in Harrison for Attina. “AHT AHT AHT!” She tutted, wagging her finger quickly. The last thing she could eeeever think of was marrying the twins. “I definitely think she’d agree to it, y’know if you took her out on a date, expressed your undying affection and admiration for her with a beautiful view of the sea, maybe even some roses and a pretty ring. She’s not picky, I don’t think?” She wiggled her eyebrows mischievously. However, she did want to humor Harrison on the excitement of a superhero academy. “I think that would be a pretty cool idea. Besides, I did hear rumors of like a wanting to expand the academy. We already have a Tokyo branch, why not make a superhero one, y’know?” Gearing the conversation back to him and her sister, she giggled. “Hot girl-slash-hot guy summer is the summer where you can be your best self. Maybe show off a little more skin and stuff?”
xxmax-goof:
“I mean, the last thing I want to do is puke in somebody’s car, Arielle. That sounds traumatic. For everyone involved,” he pointed out with a grin. “Uh, I think our first game is at like 2:20 or something like that. That’d put you leaving in the middle of rush hour traffic, though which would absolutely suck.” It wasn’t that he didn’t want her to come watch; he did but he also didn’t want to keep her from doing something she loved.
“I grew up with six sisters, Max. SIX. Do you think I haven’t been traumatized by at least one of us getting car sick or sea sick in that matter? I’ve seen it all,” the redheaded dramatically explained. “Oh, that’s perfect! No no, I usually leave at night actually. My sisters freak out when I do, but it’ll just be me, the ocean waves and the pretty moon,” She nodded with a smile. “Besides, what’s the big deal?! You don’t want your best cheerleader there?”
alanaye:
“Oh no,” Alana laughed, probably harder than she should have, but she found humor in the joke. So what if she was easily amused. “We wouldn’t want that. Though I don’t think you’re that helpless, you did think to ask about sunscreen after all.”
“I’m here all day,” Arielle teased with her own giggle. She had to admit, sometimes, she was pretty funny. Sometimes. She didn’t want to press her luck too much. Especially with Alana. “You know—you’ve got a point—normally I’m just running out there and being reckless. Oh god—is this what getting older feels like, Lana?”
xxarista-sullivan:
“Have you been on her bad side? Absolutely terrifying.” Arista grinned. Despite butting heads with Aquata, she did love her. “I’ll have to give that a try. Really, with any vegetable. Although she does love sweet potatoes.” The woman grinned. Her smile only grew as Arielle dug into the gossip. “Oh my God. Really?” Her eyes widened. Between her oldest sister and her best friends, Arista wasn’t entirely sure how she’d gone so wrong with helping them realize the person they were meant to be with was right in front of their eyes. “Trixie and Mike are a mess…well, Harrison and Attina are, too actually. I mentioned dating to Attina the other day so maybe we’ll at least get the ball rolling on that one. Especially if Harrison is back.”
“As the youngest, I feel like I’ve been on everyone’s bad side at least once and have seen some terrifying sides,” Arielle pointed out with the biggest of smiles. “Okay so you give her sweet potatoes normally and then blend up everything else into her favorite food and then, she’d never know until you break the heartbreaking news when she’s 16 like you all did,” She teased with a giggle, but she still held the same sentiment and regard to help out her niece. “YES!!! To think Gossip God is still on his fishing trip and I beat the old man to the punch. I should be deemed a hero in this town,” She puffed out her chest proudly. “Our goal is to make sure those four wind up together. Harrison and Attina, Mike and Trixie. That is our summer goal.”
xxmax-goof:
“Yeah, I, uh…I get carsick but that could be fun.” He didn’t really get carsick, and he was interested in the idea but part of him was just nervous to take another trip in case it ended up like the one with his dad. “I mean, we are pretty good so…I think as long as we’re all focused we’ll be okay. It’d be cool to see you there but don’t give up your spring break trip for us. Adventure is waiting for you out there and there will be plenty of games.”
“That’s why they created a little medicine called Dramamine OR I could just get you one of those bags in case you get sick. When I used to go to the beach when I was younger, I’d have one handy but that was before y’know—” Arielle trailed off and motioned wildly in the air to mention chaos. “You seee! As long as you have faith in your team—which by the way—when is exactly the game? Cause I could just take off a little later, I don’t mind. Adventure’s always going to be out there.”
remember-dory:
Dory put her keys back into her pajama pants safely, just noticing now that’s what she was wearing. “Um I must have done it again. Oh no I kinda have a sleep walking problem. It usually only happens when I’m stressed, and usually I’m not able to get the front door open. Or any door for that matter…so this is impressive.” She got lost in her thoughts for a moment then looked back up to Arielle. “Did you say smoothie?”
“Oh Dory...” The redhead shook her head in disbelief and worry. “What’s got you floundering around, huh? Did something happen?” She asked curiously. “I do have to say though...you’re getting really crafty with sleep walking if you could make it out the door, that’s pretty fascinating,” She scratched her head with a laugh. If there was one person who often had her that way, it was definitely Dory. “I did! Come on!” She held out her hand. “Let’s go get you one!”
xxarista-sullivan:
“Or she’ll kill me,” she grinned. She had butted heads with Aquata often growing up. Of course, Arista had a habit of helping herself to Aquata’s things every now and then. “Yes, it was peas but it’s important to introduce her to new foods or she’ll only end up eating mac and cheese or chicken nuggets.” She didn’t force Alexandria to eat things she didn’t want, but she did encourage her daughter to try new things. “Trixe AND Harrison intel? C’mon! Spill! You know I love gossip.”
“Aqua’s not THAT scary,” She huffed. After all, it was pretty entertaining watching Arista and Aquata go at it at times. Both of them had completely opposite personalities and they were always taking each other’s things by mistake, although she was pretty sure Aquata liked blaming Arista on the matter. “You know you could always mix in the peas into the mac and cheese. Isn’t that what mom did when we were little? Either way, what little Alex won’t know, won’t kill her—until she’s like 16,” She retorted with an encouraging smile. “YES! Okay okay okay, so Trixie, we both know she digs Mike but, you know how she said when she got her mani/pedi with her Grandpa Lou that she chose her favorite color? Well, I saw the nails in person. It’s Mike’s favorite shade of green, not Trixie’s,” She pointed out. “AND THEN!!!! Harrison...he got all flustered when I mentioned asking Attina if she was single, y’know, spice up the pot a little. He still digs her, it’s gross. They need to get married, but that’s what you missed on Glee!”
alanaye:
“You know me.” Alana made sure to always carry sunblock, as well as foundation, mascara and lip gloss. Her go-tos in an emergency. Fishing through her bag, she pulled out one of her tubes to hand to her sister. “Make sure you lather up. I’d cry if you ruined that beautiful skin of yours.”
“All too well, sis,” Arielle grinned, wiggling her eyebrows mischievously at Alana. She watched the way the brunette fished through her bag and breathed out a sigh of relief. “I will, I will, I promise. If it weren’t for you, I’d be like a fish out of water with skincare!” She smirked at her own pun, but still, meant every word.
leader-of-team-go:
“I–I think you’re right.” His eyes got wide when he realized he did in fact do that to his siblings. Accidentally landing on the irony in their situations. “Of course I love to know how well she is doing. I’ll always wish her the best. I wish her every happiness this world has to offer. But as her friend I fail to see why her being single would have anything to do with me.” Despite these words his heart bubbled with excitement. This was the glimmer of hope he wanted but never in a million years believed would happen. Still he had no idea if Attina in fact felt the same way, but now was his chance to finally confess his feelings. If only he could get the courage. “Seeing as it’s generational it’s more like X-Men. I’m not nearly as cool as Professor X though.” He chuckled feeling like he was talking to one of his own siblings. The Wegos were always obsessed with Teen Titans. “Are you talking about the Santa Ana winds?”
“I think it’s like an oldest sibling thing, the comedic timing of it while you’re calling out something ironic. I’ve seen it before with my own eyes,” Arielle grinned. Her eyebrows slowly rose at Harrison’s heartfelt explanation. As if she didn’t know that the man was still very much head-over-heels in like with her big sister. “Well you know maybe you could encourage her to get back out there into the dating pool. Y’know, be each other’s wing people? Maybe—” She paused and then quickly mumbled, “Makeamarriagepactwitheachother—” and then she smiled, “But heyyy, what do I know, right?” She giggled. “Oooh, like X-Men, that’s pretty dope! Are you gonna talk to Mal about it? Or is it just one of those exclusively super hero-y type of things?” She asked curiously. “Nope, not the Santa Ana winds, although I will say those winds were BLOWIIING the other day, but nope. Uh-uh, I feel like something is brewing upon the horizon. A hot girl—or guy—summer, as my generation boasts about.”
whatsthesitch:
“I will always love my job. It’s always something different and even if I took a break or not, I’d still love it.” Kim laughed slightly, “I’m following your lead, plus you’re lucky I love watching the waves crash. That is one view I will never get enough of.”
“Then it’s not a job, it’s a passion,” Arielle smiled brightly. It was something she aspired to have. Getting to live with her passion to do everything she could do in her life time. “Yay!!! I can’t wait. I mean, it’s not like I’m hardly there, but I think it’ll help bring the zen back to us!”
xxmax-goof:
“I haven’t done much exploring around here either.” Road trips with his father had taken the thrill out of it one too many times. With friends it might be different but his closest friends usually went on vacations with their families during breaks, leaving Max to fend off boredom on his own. “Coach probably won’t be too happy if we get knocked out in the first round anyway so I think that’s motivating all of us. Yeah, you totally should if you aren’t off on some grand adventure.”
“Wait, really?! We should totally go together one day!” Arielle suggested with a bright smile. If there was one thing she absolutely loved doing it was going on road trips—or any type of a trip with friends. “I’m pretty sure it’ll be virtually impossible to get knocked out in the first round. I’m always hearing my brother-in-law raving about you guys,” She grinned. “Who knows, maybe it’ll motivate me to stay a few more days.”
alanaye:
“Would you like a sample of my newest hand cream?” Alana was often seeing what she could whip up when it came to homemade creams, face masks, or beauty products of any sort, and she was proud of her newest product. “It’s all natural, hibiscus and green tea scented.”
Arielle’s eyes perked up at Alana’s suggestion and took a peek as to what the older one was presenting. “So it smells like springtime?” She asked curiously. “I mean, I wouldn’t say no if it makes my hands baby soft. By the wayyyy, do you have any sunblock you could spare?”
xxarista-sullivan:
“Oh, Arielle, you know I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.” There were a few sisters she was particularly close with in comparison to others, but she really did love them all. Arista let out a laugh. “Oh, you have no idea. Yesterday she through a spoonful of breakfast at Uncle Mike.” Honestly, the woman was wondering how their parents did it with so many girls back to back. Still, she loved motherhood so much even the tantrums were worth it. She grinned as her daughter giggled at the soft touch to the nose. “So much to tell me? About what?”
“She’ll liiiive,” Arielle drawled out with a giggle. “Oh? Yikes. What was it this time? Was it the peas? Cause I can definitely understand, they taste pretty gross,” She admitted, scrunching her nose in disgust. She admired Arista’s parenting skills, between her and Sulley being happy parents, but also going through work and life, the way they worked as a team together—she admired it all. “Oh oh! Well, since you, mentioned Mike, I have Trixie intel...AND AND I also have Harrison intel.”
leader-of-team-go:
“Ha ha! I was never too good at the roasting, the younger ones were always more creative on that end.” As Arielle went on about her own sisters there was one in particular he was waiting to hear about. When her name was finally spoken a blush appeared on Harrison’s face. “Well– that’s amazing! It sounds like they are all doing well.” He let out a hearty laugh trying to cover up his awkwardness about hearing the news of Attina’s status he so longed to hear. “Why would I need to know that? It’s–I haven’t seen her in so long.” He shook his head trying to get out if his thoughts. “We shall see how things go. I still have to wait to hear on how the new heroes do. But if all goes well I’m hoping to start a hero training camp here. Romance?” He squints his eyes. Was she already on to him? “What about it?”
“I think you’d be pretty good at like deadpan or accidental roasting,” Arielle complimented with a big grin. She rocked back and forth in excitement noticing his blush, there was definitely still something there and maybe just maybe she could play matchmaker for both her sister and Harrison. “They definitely are!—Huh? Oh! Well, you know, I figured you’d want to hear about Attina and all the amazing things she’s done—I mean, like, you guys are friends, right?” She responded with the most innocent of looks. “New heroes?! Like The Avengers?Teen Titans? Or even cooler than that?!” She asked excitedly. “Oh, well, I just mentioned romance because you know what they say about Santa Monica, there’s always a little something in the air with romance.”

@wdpastarters
The sleepwalking had gotten out of control the moment she had grabbed her keys and walked right out onto the sidewalk. In nothing but her pajamas and some fluffy slippers to aid her against the cold she continued along without fully waking up. Until a collision happened between her and some poor soul that had got in her way. Now she was awake. Eyes widening and now frantically looking for her keys she had dropped. “Oh! I am so sorry. You’re not hurt are you?” Worried not about herself but how she had probably ruined this person’s night in a matter of seconds. “Wait a minute, were you following me?”
Arielle had spent time in the water, coming back with her backpack full of trinkets she had found on the ocean floor that she’d be cleaning off and inspecting. Of course, she wanted to go for a pick me up and grab herself a smoothie, but as she walked on the sidewalk, blissfully unaware that she’d accidentally knock into someone—and her smoothie falling to the ground. “Aw man!” She pouted, she was ready to reprimand the person who knocked into her until she realized who it was. “Dory? Wait wait no no no, I’m okay and no—I went to grab a smoothie?” She tilted her head curiously realizing she was in her pjs, “Um...are you making a run to the store or something cause uh—you’re in your pjs...”
