Emilia Clarke in Leeds on the set of Secret Invasion (January 2022)
xxarista-sullivan:
“I think it’s a sister thing,” she laughed. Despite the fact that all of them knew how to drive the other’s crazy, it seemed like they almost all had the ability to heal each other, too. Arista might have been Alana’s sister, but she was always supportive of those she cared about and she did genuinely like the products her sister was making. “Ah, yeah. I understand that completely.” Running after Alex had become quite the chore. “Uh, I’m the same as you, I think and Alex…less sweet, more…well she is sweet, she’s just learning how to manage emotions.”
♡
“You’re probably right,” she smiled, she truly was lucky to have so many wonderful sisters in her life. “Poor thing, it’s hard enough to manage emotions as an adult.” Though she joked, it was true. Alana was usually an upbeat, optimistic person, but there were times that life just weighed on her, and after all these years, she still didn’t know how to combat it. “She’ll figure it out, she’s a smart girl.”
adventurous-arielle:
“All too well, sis,” Arielle grinned, wiggling her eyebrows mischievously at Alana. She watched the way the brunette fished through her bag and breathed out a sigh of relief. “I will, I will, I promise. If it weren’t for you, I’d be like a fish out of water with skincare!” She smirked at her own pun, but still, meant every word.
♡
“Oh no,” Alana laughed, probably harder than she should have, but she found humor in the joke. So what if she was easily amused. “We wouldn’t want that. Though I don’t think you’re that helpless, you did think to ask about sunscreen after all.”
leader-of-team-go:
“I was not worried.” He laughed. The last people on earth he’d be worried about would be the Triton sisters. Each one he believed full-heartedly to be just as kind as the last. Now he knew word did travel fast between the sisters, but he believed it was all in good fun. “I’ll give you a full report!” He placed it in his jacket pocket for safe keeping. There was no way he’d let this get lost. “Are you still doing the fashion things?”
♡
She wondered if she could sneak in something about Attina; she knew what her sisters were up to. But it felt wrong to bring her older sister up in conversation when she hardly spoke to her these days. “Please do! All the fashion things,” the words followed by a laugh, “I don’t think I’d know how to escape it even if I wanted to.”
remember-dory:
“Oh my starfish! It’s just you Fauna! Didn’t recognize you as well in the dark.” She said as she picked up her house keys off the ground. There had fallen right next to a baby hermit crab. This must have been Dory’s lucky day. She loved hermit crabs. “Oh I’m fine. As far as I can tell I still have all six of my limbs. As long as I can still swim I think I’ll be okay. What brings you out at night?”
♡
Fauna was... alright. She’d been called worse things. “Just getting some air,” she told Dory with a friendly smile. It was a good thing the woman hadn’t gotten hurt somehow. If not by running into her, by running into anyone. Or anything. “The ocean is so pretty at night, don’t you think?”
xxarista-sullivan:
“Relax, I was only joking,” the woman laughed. Arista always loved trying out her sister’s creations. It was the perfect bit of self-care to incorporate into her busy life. “Well, I’m excited to try it. I just finished the last one you gave me.” Putting it into her purse, Arista turned back to her sister. “How have you been?”
♡
“See, it’s almost as if I can read your mind.” It was nice to know someone liked her products enough to finish them... even if it wasn’t exactly an unbiased party. “Oh, you know. Good, stressed and busy --- the triple threat.” Alana laughed softly. “How are you? How’s sweet little Alex?”
leader-of-team-go·:
Taking a look at his rough and calloused hands it was probably about time he took some care of them. Perhaps he could give it a try. “You make them yourself?” He said as he investigated the packaging and brought the sent to his nose. Taking a big stiff like a child would with their first set of scented markers. “This actually smells really good Alana. Thank you for sharing this with me.”
♡
“I do. And don’t worry, I’ve been doing it just long enough to know what I’m doing.” She’d hate to give someone something that flared an allergic reaction, or simply wasn’t beneficial at all. Alana was practically holding her breath as he sniffed it, hoping he liked it. “You are so very welcome. You have to tell me what you think.”
eldestxtriton·:
“That would be lovely Alana.” Attina smiled softly, yet at the same time it felt like her heart had sunk. Attina knew all her sisters like the back of her hand and yet she wasn’t always up to date with that was going on with Alana. She only got information of her when the younger ones spoke of her. She wanted them to be closer again but she didn’t know where to start or what there was to fix. “I didn’t know you were making your own beauty products.” It was sad to say it aloud but at the same time she was proud of her sister for pursuing what she loved.
♡
Holding the sample bottle she’d made out to her sister, Alana’s smile faltered. She thought that everyone knew how passionate she’d gotten about the products she used, and even more so, learning how to do them herself. She’d been so proud of herself the very first time she made lotion that didn’t lead to a breakout. If she were a kid again, she would’ve gone running to Attina immediately, just excited to show her something, the person she looked up to more than anyone in the world. “They’re... almost all I use anymore.”
adventurous-arielle·:
Arielle’s eyes perked up at Alana’s suggestion and took a peek as to what the older one was presenting. “So it smells like springtime?” She asked curiously. “I mean, I wouldn’t say no if it makes my hands baby soft. By the wayyyy, do you have any sunblock you could spare?”
♡
“You know me.” Alana made sure to always carry sunblock, as well as foundation, mascara and lip gloss. Her go-tos in an emergency. Fishing through her bag, she pulled out one of her tubes to hand to her sister. “Make sure you lather up. I’d cry if you ruined that beautiful skin of yours.”
xxarista-sullivan·:
“Are you implying my hands are starting to look aged, Lana?” The blonde teased her sister. She knew that her sister was all about beauty and did what she could to avoid wrinkles and age spots before they happened. Truth be told, Arista had neglected her own beauty regimen in the last few months. “You know I’m a sucker for anything hibiscus scented, though.”
♡
“Of course not,” Alana was quick to assure her, “oh, gosh, you know I didn’t mean it like that.” Arista was the kind of person that was beautiful without having to try, she might just be the last person that needed any beauty products from her. “I thought you would like that. It’s really nice, I promise. I made sure to perfect it this time.”

“Would you like a sample of my newest hand cream?” Alana was often seeing what she could whip up when it came to homemade creams, face masks, or beauty products of any sort, and she was proud of her newest product. “It’s all natural, hibiscus and green tea scented.”
“Stop right there!” Kim shouted at someone in the distance who was doing their best to avoid her, “God damn it!” She groaned loudly, not caring who saw her because she had just lost a potiential lead in a case.

At first Alana was startled, thinking someone was shouting at her. “Careful, love,” she piped up from where she stood, an unaffiliated third party, “you’ll cause worry lines.”

The sleepwalking had gotten out of control the moment she had grabbed her keys and walked right out onto the sidewalk. In nothing but her pajamas and some fluffy slippers to aid her against the cold she continued along without fully waking up. Until a collision happened between her and some poor soul that had got in her way. Now she was awake. Eyes widening and now frantically looking for her keys she had dropped. “Oh! I am so sorry. You’re not hurt are you?” Worried not about herself but how she had probably ruined this person’s night in a matter of seconds. “Wait a minute, were you following me?”
Nighttime was the best time to visit the ocean. She tried to stay away, but the waves called to Alana, a never ending longing to be near them, if just for a moment. It was always a risk, but much less of one when nearly everyone was asleep. She was so focused on looking over her shoulder for any sign of humans she had failed to look right in front of her... until she bumped into Dory. “No, no, of course not,” she was quick to reassure her, she’d been worried about being followed herself. “I am perfectly alright. You aren’t hurt either, I hope?”
