drogon: *protects daenerys always, nearly roasts someone who is charging at her*
leaks: after jon kills dany, drogon just looks at him and flies away
me:
Bran's probably warging Drogon and drown that monstrous flying lizard. Dragons will all die. A song of ice and fire!
Bran’s Vision S6/E6 - the Most Important 15 Seconds In the Show’s History
Why Bran’s vision from Season 6 / Episode 6 “Blood of My Blood” is potentially the heaviest bit of ominous foreshadowing ever featured on the show and what it might mean for the ending.

Re-blogging because this episode essentially confirms my theory from over a year ago about Bran’s visions.
RE-BLOGGING BECAUSE WE’RE DOWN TO ONE DRAGON AND IT IS DROGON AND IT’S UNDENIABLY TRUE NOW.

John Bradley on Why Sam Thinks Daenerys Is ‘Psychopathic’
“Sam is now very, very aware that Dany is very imbalanced and very volatile and in quite a dangerous state with people,” Bradley told TheWrap in an interview Monday. “He sees with his own eyes, and is kind of connecting this to his own set of emotions, just how cold she is and how sacrificial she is in other people’s lives. And he learns the lengths that she’ll go to if somebody decides to disobey her and how her quest for power seems to know no moral code when it comes to that.”
“When she’s talking to him and she’s telling him about his own family, she’s telling him kind of without any sense of compassion at all,” Bradley says. “She comes at it in a very clinical way, and a very cold and a very detached way. And it feels psychopathic, really, that she didn’t offer him any kind of comfort at all. She says, you know, ‘They refused to bend the knee.’ And that’s a very pragmatic way of dealing with it, ‘They disobeyed me, and so I killed them.’ And in that moment he sees what a dangerous figure she is and that’s what motivates him to tell Jon.”
“[Sam] can see the trouble that she could spell, not only for Jon, but for the Seven Kingdoms in general,” Bradley said. “And also, you know, just the safety of his own family. Sam is always thinking about that. Sam is always thinking about the safety of Gilly and baby Sam. And what he was put on this earth to do is protect them. And he sees all of this put in jeopardy if we continue with this campaign of volatile, murderous, completely irrational behavior. So I think he’s very scared. He’s terrified of Daenerys after that. Terrified of what she’s capable of, and he wants to do all he can to put a stop to it.”

Jon being ahead of Daenerys in the Targaryen succession has nothing to do with sexism.
Even if the Seven Kingdoms followed birth-order primogeniture to determine succession (as in Dorne) he would still be before her, because he is the last remaining child of the eldest child of King Aerys.
Aerys -> Rhaegar -> Jon.
Nothing could be simpler.
Prophetic figures in ASOIAF/GOT
Isn't it clear who the prophetic figures are? I believe they are different people with different missions altogether. Three different prophecies are being fulfilled.
Azor Ahai: Daenerys Targaryen. She champions fire. She is the character who is most connected to fire and the prophecy itself: born on the island of Dragonstone during the storm, and reborn in a pyre. She is the mother of dragons, and the unburnt. She is definitely fire. However, fire is just the opposite magical force against ice, and they are eventually meant to clash causing destruction in opposite ways. Azor Ahai's mission is to clash with Rhllor's ultimate enemy, the Great Other who champions ice. She is a savior to fire and its fanatics, but is a means of destruction to humanity.
The Last Hero: Bran Stark. The story of the last hero is basically Bran's story. Bran's visions led him to journey North of the Wall, just as the Last Hero did. He started with many companions but eventually losing them to the forces of ice. But along the way, he learns to become a skinchanger and greenseer, allowing him to gain insight on defeating the Others. Bran's mission is to use the magic learned from the Children and the Old Gods to battle the forces of ice. He will play a very important role in defeating the Others (probably just the NK in the show).
The Prince that was Promised: Jon Snow. He is the central character and the namesake of the entire series. An important part of the prophecy of the prince that was promised is that he has a song - the song of ice and fire. Jon is the only character that hails from ice and fire, the blood of the First Men and Old Valyria, AND is both a Stark and Targaryen, the two most central families in ASOIAF. Because of his parentage Jon has three heads, or identities he will embrace: Snow (when he joins the watch), Stark (after his resurrection, claiming of Winterfell and becoming King in the North) and eventually Targaryen (as heir to the throne). Jon 'will be the mediator of ice and fire, bringing balance to these two magical, fascinating, yet destructive forces and to prevent humanity from decimation. This could mean bringing peace to their coexistence, or the destruction of both.
“Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Arya: *sees a presumably extinct species and is understandably awestruck*
Dany Stans: SHE’S GONNA LICK DANY’S BOOTS AND FORGET THE HORRIBLE THINGS SHES DONE COZ GIANT LIZARD BOI!!!
Are y'all dumb or what? She’s seeing a Dragon for the first time that doesn’t mean shit. She’s smiling at Drogon not Daenerys.
And the whole “Arya loves Targaryens.” argument is pathetic. She loves VISENYA Targaryen and what’s the one thing Arya hates? People who kill unjustly and commit horrendous crimes, ie Dany.
D&D said Arya And Sansa would be hostile towards Daenerys and now y'all are cumming over Arya smiling at a lizard and saying she’s gonna “worship the ground Dany walks on.” I’m fucking sorry, but Arya doesn’t exist just to praise and worship your fave pyromaniac.
@silverfire1522 Gonna stop you right there. Jon > Dany in terms of main character rights. He is ice and fire. Dany is just fire, the opposite of ice. #POVs, mentions, screentime Jon > Dany. Teaser focused on Jon and the Starks not Dany. The last book was gonna be called A Time For Wolves (a Stark triumph) not A Revival of Dragons.
All George's quote implies that she is as threatening as the white walkers. It's naive to think of Asoiaf as a good dragons vs evil white walkers story. This is not generic fantasy. It's more like destructive dragons (who you thought were protagonists) vs destructive white walkers, so balance must be achieved to prevent the world from being destroyed. She is going down in season 8. T*rg restoration is NOT gonna happen. She is going to be seen as a villain by those she wanted to save. She will burn them all. That's why Emilia seems so shocked and unenthusiastic about Dany's ending. I feel sorry for Em. She thought Dany was the fire version of Elsa or something and that she will have a Disney princess ending where she is a feminist hero or some bs. She couldn't have been more wrong.
Hey julibf. I subscribe to your theory that jon being ice and fire is tptwp that must defeat both the threats of the white walkers and the dragons. But this got me thinking, since Jon was brought back by R'hillor the fire god's magic, do you think he will die once he defeats and eradicates fire too? Or is his life completely paid for by Shireen's sacrifice, as many believe?
Hi, thanks for the ask. Its so nice to get asked real questions, I ussualy just get hate from the Mirandas….
Not only I believe his death is payed off, I actually believe that one of the side effects of his resurrection is to have a very, very long life. There is nothing more sad, as to have to live a very long life, watching all your loved ones passing way before you. Be the last one standing can be quite painful.
There is a lot of foreshadowing pointing out to the fact that Jon will survive all the other characters in the book…..
“Or been driven away,” their father said, looking at the sixth pup. His fur was white, where the rest of the litter was grey. His eyes were as red as the blood of the ragged man who had died that morning. Bran thought it curious that this pup alone would have opened his eyes while the others were still blind.
“An albino,” Theon Greyjoy said with wry amusement. “This one will die even faster than the others.
"Jon Snow gave his father’s ward a long, chilling look. "I think not, Greyjoy,” he said. “This one belongs to me.”
A Game of Thrones - Bran I
………
Tyrion shared around his skin of wine until even Yoren grew mellow. One by one the company drifted off to their shelters and to sleep, all but Jon Snow, who had drawn the night’s first watch. Tyrion was the last to retire, as always. As he stepped into the shelter his men had built for him, he paused and looked back at Jon Snow. The boy stood near the fire, his face still and hard, looking deep into the flames. Tyrion Lannister smiled sadly and went to bed. -
A Game Of Throne - Tyrion II
Remember, he is the watcher on the wall… even the show made sure to tells us that Jon is going to keep on fighting for quite some time….
Ser Alisser: “I fought, I lost. Now I rest. But you, Lord Snow, you’ll be fighting their battles forever.”
Game of Thrones - Season 6 Episode 3
so, yeahh. I do believe Jon will survive the end of this story, its going to be incredible bittersweet, but also very beautiful!!!
Also the Stark kids as the KL cats from AGoT:
"The Red Keep was full of cats: lazy old cats dozing in the sun, cold-eyed mousers twitching their tails, quick little kittens with claws like needles, ladies' cats all combed and trusting, ragged shadows prowling the midden heaps. One by one Arya had chased them down and snatched them up and brought them proudly to Syrio Forel … all but this one, this one-eared black devil of a tomcat. "That's the real king of this castle right there," one of the gold cloaks had told her. "Older than sin and twice as mean. One time, the king was feasting the queen's father, and that black bastard hopped up on the table and snatched a roast quail right out of Lord Tywin's fingers. Robert laughed so hard he like to burst. You stay away from that one, child." - Arya III (AGoT)
Lazy old cats dozing in the sun = Bran. He cannot walk thus lazy, and he has green dreams (thus dozing)
Cold eyed mouzers twitching their tails = Robb. Cold eyed = could be a reference to his status as the Starks heir of Winterfell, the Kings of Winter. And he becomes King in the North.
Quick little kittens with claws like needles = Arya. She's small and quick with a sword called Needle.
Ladies' cats all combed and trusting = Sansa. She is a "lady" and was quite naive and trusting at the start of the series.
Ragged shadows prowling the midden heaps = I believe Rickon was described similarly while in the crypts and his direwolf is Shaggydog has black fur (shadows)
One eared black devil of a Tomcat, the real king of the castle = Jon. Black devil refers to the black cloaks of the NW. and of course king od the castle alludes to his status as a hidden King (and maybe eventual King). Also the cat is called a black bastard. Jon is known as a bastard who wears a black cloak.
The fact that Arya couldn't catch him could be foreshadowing that he will be long before actual death catches up with him.
Dany burning king's landing
r/freefolk (dany circlejerk) and really dany stans in general are always in denial about this. They know KL is burning, but are in denial that it could actually be Dany who burns it out of angry impulse. First they tried to justify it with things like the "NK made it to KL of course she'll burn it!" or "cersei kidnapped jon of course she'll burn it!"
Then they blame it on other characters since "Dany can never!"
First, they blame Bran who apparently wargs the dragon. Then they blame it on Cersei, who obviously blows up the wildfire. Recently, since that Friki guy's "leaks", they blamed it on Tyrion, who somehow schemes with Cersei to blow up the wildfire (wtf). "dAnY never does anything to burn innocent people!!!!! Of course someone else does it! They're EviLLL!!!"
Ok so if Cersei or Tyrion or Bran does it what the hell is Dany gonna do in the second half of season 8 then? Sit in a chair and braid Missandei's hair? Is that who she is? Is that her role in season 8? Who's arc is it to burn her enemies with fire? Certainly not Tyrion's or Bran's. It's between Dany and Cersei. But since Dany is PuRe GooD and Cersei is eViL, it totally has to be Cersei. 🙄
I mean, we didn't waste CGI budget on Bran's visions including the mad king's "Burn em all" fiasco AND this shot of a dragon over KL to not have it actually happen on the show.
That's kind of the point of the dragons right? They have the power to destroy and they will. George said so.
Is it me or all the new leaks and ‘spoilers’ are just coming up with ways to justify the burning of King’s Landing by Daenerys?
Before the verified spoilers by WoTW about Kings Landing burning came out, none of the previous leaks mentioned it in their so called 'scripts’.
Now Jon is somehow held captive in Kings Landing, so Dany has to pull a Rambo on the city to save her beloved.
Oh and there is that ridiculous spoilers about the White Walkers holding the city hostage.
SMH, the devil works hard but Daenerys worshippers work harder…

I can’t wait for these two… (Together again…)
The show started with the Starks…
and it’s going to end with them…
