What a tiring week — finally, Friday is just around the corner! Hoping the weather cooperates this Saturday for our much-awaited overnight outing, a special pre-birthday celebration for my mom. Can’t wait to unwind and make more memories with the fam.

December 2019, I took a leap and left my first job, unaware that the world was about to change drastically. The pandemic came, and we faced so much uncertainty, yet we pushed through and survived. Now, five years later, I look back and realize how much has changed. But deep down, I feel like a part of me is still frozen in that pre-pandemic life. I miss those days, and I find myself wanting to reconnect with who I was back then.

Every time I buy something I couldn’t have as a kid, I’m honoring my inner child’s dreams. It feels like a celebration of everything I once thought was out of reach. Now, when I’m able to treat myself to those things, it’s like I’m telling my younger self, “This is for you. You deserve this.” Little by little, I’m breaking down those old limitations and learning to live in a world where abundance and joy are possible—for both of us.
