Second veggie photodump … Cherry tomato seedlings between two frames of prolifically growing sugar snap vines, baby leeks in with some young silverbeet and radishes ( did I mention I freaking love radishes? 😜), more very rogue arugula… love that it just keeps going…. Cherry bell radishes and young silverbeet up close… for any of you that I haven’t already bored today with my growing I also have curly and continental parsley, many basil plants (I mean home made pesto, c’mon!!), marshmallow, rosemary, tonnes of beetroot, too much pak choi…. A plethora of different heirloom chilies, two zucchini vines and Lebanese and black beauty aubergines. Was just out doing slug and snail patrol because even if you’re like me and you dry out all your coffee grounds and scatter them across the top of the soil so those mofos don’t want to glide over them … after this kind of rain they will still try and find a way.. even the damn snails that climb all the way up my veggie pod stand and somehow get inside the dome I find more slugs and snails in there than I do in all my above ground beds !!! But if you’re going to go natural my advice is definitely (if you’re a coffee lover like me and you drink good coffee at home) dry out your grounds and scatter them across the top of your soil because they really don’t like the gritty sensation underneath them. Veggie and herb photodump!! In order… chives a flowerin’, a healthy young spinach plant, butter lettuces (yes I know I need to weed the veggiepod) , thyme, oregano, One of very many different tomato seedlings, shallots in with leeks and rogue arugula 😜, one of a few cucumber vines coming up, loads of radishes and one of a few sugar snap vines….
