#damn my bio still said i was 22... i am now 27 #in case no one remembers me i used to write 5sos imagines and one shots here #and once upon a time i wrote a long ashton fic on a different site called 'the things we did that summer's #i also once wrote a dark au harry fic on a different site called 'no mistake' but it wasn't as popular #i still love 5sos and harry and 1d #still love taylor too #starting to blog here again feels weird but idk this is still probably the site where i had the best time ever on the internet #ig we'll see how i like it and how it goes

i don’t know who needs to hear this, but here it goes: you don’t have to repeatedly and harshly punish yourself for every little thing you think you do wrong. you don’t have to diminish or eliminate your worth and dignity in order to become a better person and acknowledge your mistakes. please forgive yourself, please keep going and please, be flawed! perfection is unattainable.

i think spending years on tumblr surrounded by the most critically unhinged minds on earth has impacted me in ways i dont even want to acknowledge. but on the plus side its all really funny

AshtonIrwin: Here’s the tale of how I got my solo artist name.

At the beginning of my album writing process I really wanted to have an artist name, or a band name... my project was called “BLUSH” for about 3 months & “FLETCH” for about 2 months. After trying to get the Trademark etc and having no luck, because of several bands and groups that had existed already, I gracefully allowed myself to just stick with my actual name for the project. I thought “well I’m already in a great band, why would I start another one” and in my heart it was time to just be me and stop playing a character. The album title SUPERBLOOM lasted the WHOLE process, I came up with the title alongside the first song we made. It sounded to me like my favorite 90’s record that never existed. Here in these images you can see BLUSH and FLETCH (another potential artist name) written on my song book.

All these photos were taken by the mystical @kaykay , her style of photography and incredible lens work really captures the essence of my true self. She is my favorite photographer.
