On April 7th 2020, our beloved family dog Finley experienced a jaw fracture. Our usually happy, healthy senior gentleman is no longer able to close his mouth or eat his food- it is heartbreaking to see him like this. Due to the severity of his condition, Finley’s veterinarian has warned us that we may have to say goodbye to Finley if action is not taken as soon as possible. We have found a fantastic oral surgeon who can save Finley’s life, but we will not be able to go through with the procedure unless we can raise $5000.
It is not Finley’s time to leave us. Since we adopted him from the local animal shelter years ago, Finley has been an indispensable member of our family. His girls, Taylor (19), Michaela (17), and Charlotte (8), are his favorite people, and he can often be found following them around the house with wide eyes and a wagging tail. Finley is sprightly and upbeat in nature, and has been unfailingly energetic and playful even into his golden years. It would be terribly unfair to cut his earthly time short due to financial reasons. He has so much more love left to give. We can’t imagine a world without him, especially when his condition is fixable.
While we understand that this is a difficult time for many people amid the COVID-19 outbreak, we hope that fellow animal lovers can unite to help us save the life of our dear family member. Anything helps our cause- even just sharing the link to our fund.
I am offering custom painted pet portraits for donations of $50 or more, and custom needle felted sculptures of pets for donations of $100 or more.
Please help us to enjoy many more years with our special boy. It would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much.
