On February 17th Rika went to Risport’s factory in Italy. She said there are a lot of occasions where she couldn’t find good product so she went searching for them at the factory instead.

She went to Risport in Venice and they prepared 50 pairs of boots for her. She said each boot has their own features and some products have deformation so she is searching for the item that is the most not deformed from the factory. So she thought of singling them out from all that was in the factory. She checked all 50 pairs the factory prepared for her seriously.

They asked her: which part is she paying attention to? (when choosing)

She said it’s easy to notice when seeing them, she showed cameraman the one she’s holding and said that it’s dented on the part which is connected to heel, not straight.

With this weird dent it can affect the jumps greatly.

She is a person who adjusts her blade position up to 0.1 mm count.

Until now there were a lot of cases where she has difficulties adjusting her boots in the middle of competitions, so boots is an important factor for her. She checked all the boots for 6 hours. She bought 11 right and 9 left boots.

She thinks she could jump 2 type of quads if she chooses the good boots which have no deformation and fit her feet. Lastly, after 4CC she was interviewed and say she wants to do her best with the goal of performing the best programs in the most important competition.
