“I’m still getting used to it…” She sighed. She didn’t want to get into depressing talk with her new canine friend.

“It’s okay! I can guide you there. People there are nice, you’ll probably like it there.” 

She listened to his story, tilting her head curiously as he spoke. “Oh, really? I have never seen someting like this before. Do you enjoy doing this, though? I hope the humans you met have treated you well.”

🔥 “I think it’s fun! I love helping others, it means I can make friends!” He laughed a little in response. “Most of them do! Some don’t thank me, but knowing I did the work, and did a good job is enough for me! Though, a couple have thrown balls at me, instead of above me, but I don’t mind!”

🔥 “If you need anything heavy moved from one place to another, let me know! Astro the Arcanine, at your service!”

🔥 It scared him, right away, his paws going over his face. He didn’t enjoy evolving from a Growlithe, so this scared him even more. He was laying on the ground now, paws over his snout, eyes shut tight.

🔥 Once he opened them, he was on his back. He looked over at where the ‘wings’ were, seeing them gone. It was... but a nightmare. His eyes looked up to the rising sun as he rolled over onto his paws.

🔥 “It was nothing, Astro, just a ghost type playing with you.” He yawned a bit, stretching before running off. There he goes.

🔥 “If... If you say so.” He sat himself down, bracing for something like an egg to be tossed at him. His eyes were closed tight.

🔥 “If you wanna, I don’t mind! I like myself the way I am! All that matters is that I’m me, you know?”

🔥 The canine pondered for a moment before smiling. "I think the humans have called me Legendary, actually. But, I've lived for, like, at least 7 years! That's the extent of my knowledge."

Her ears drooped again at his question. “I wasn’t always wild. My trainer, he’s… Not in this world anymore… It was a long time ago…”

She let out a sad sigh, not wanting to dwell on memories of the past.

“Yes, I know! There’s a city not far away, I guide the humans that get lost in my Forest back to it.”

She took a lot at the firestone dangling from his neck, sniffing it a bit. “Oh, I see…” That was kind of peculiar. “Did you belong to a human before?”

🔥 “Ah...” He has never lost someone close to him, since he’s never around people enough for this to happen. “I’m sorry to hear. I do hope you have coped well.”

🔥 “Thanks!” The moment she changed topics, his entire mood changed with it. “I’ll go there tomorrow!” His tail wagged happily behind him. “I’ll ask for directions tomorrow, too. Just a quick heads up.”

🔥 He paused, looking up to the sky in thought. “I did not. I’ve been my own ‘mon my entire life. Honestly, I work for humans here and there, helping carry things, and pull heavy wagons, but that’s it. Sometimes, I’ve been able to work more than a Tauros. Crazy, huh?”

Ok, he was adorable. It was nice to meet a fellow friendly fire-type and this Arcanine seemed like he’d be a good friend. 

“Oh, no… It was… Well, my previous trainer named me this way.” She let out a sad sigh, her ears drooping. But her mood would change again with the other canine’s enthusiasm.

“Make as many friends as possible, huh? I wish you luck on that!” She gave him a smile.

“Honestly, it’s not a problem, I’m a canine too, after all!”

🔥 Oh yeah, foxes were canines. He’s still learning the basics to life, after all. “Yeah, I totally knew, just-” He shook his head. Time to change topic. “Trainer? You aren’t wild? You look and smell it.”

🔥 He paused, clearly a question floating around his mind for a few moments before he yawned. “Do you know where the closest human living space is? For some reason, humans tend to, well, not capture me. Probably my necklace, makes me look tame.”

🔥 He raised his neck, exposing the firestone dangling from a rope, with his name etched into it. “This one.”

Oh, the Arcanine was actually friendly. That made her change her approach and she smiled at the fellow fire-type, lowering her fire wand and taking on a more friendly posture.

“Nice to meet you, Astro! My name is Myra. I’m this forest’s guardian. Pokemon around here call me the Forest Witch.”

She didn’t mind the large canine coming closer to sniff her. “You’re on an adventure then? Is there something you need help with? Something I can do for you? I know this forest like the palm of my hand.”

🔥 “Myyyyyra!” He repeated in a sweet tone, making sure to remember it in his own way. “What a cool name! Did you come up with it?” He walked in circles around her, sniffing quietly. 

🔥 “Help? No, I’m fine! This is just one of the many places I am passing through in my adventure! One of my many goals is to make as many friends as possible, including humans!”

🔥 “Sorry about the whole... smellin’ ya thing. You know use canines! Hah!”

The fire vixen is walking through the fields carrying her wand, wich was lit up to light her way as it was getting dark fast along with a small pouch to gather things she would find useful to her.

It was then that the fox Pokémon captured the scent of another fire-type nearby and followed the trail to investigate until she saw the Arcanine standing near the river. He didn’t seem like a threat for now, but then, it was her territory, she had to assert her dominance.

“This area is under my protection. May I know your name and what you’re doing here?”

🔥 “Eh?” He looked over at the Delphox. “Ah! Hello!” He greeted, standing up with excitement. His tail wagged left and right as this new person made their presence known. “My name is Astro! I’m here on an adventure! Dunno where I will end up by the end of it, but...”

🔥 “I know that all that matters is that I have fun! Now, it’s your turn, what’s your name?” He stepped closer, sniffing as he approached.

[🌊] She was swimming through the water in the lake, enjoying the feel of it against her scales as she glided through it with a content smile on her face. After a moment, she noticed there was another Pokémon at the shore, watching her and the other Water-types. Curious, the Vaporeon made her way over to the Fire-type.

“Hello there,” Nepti greeted once she was within earshot of the canine.

🔥 He stepped back once he saw a Vaporeon approaching him. He heard her speaking, before he looked around, realized he was being talked to, and then replied. “Ah, hey.” He replied quietly before sitting down. “What’s up? Am I bein’ intrusive?”

🔥 He’s watching people from across the street, sitting nicely, like a good boy should. Though, he’s completely unaware of anything going on behind him. The possibilities are endless. This always amused him. For all he knew, there was a giant Caterpie just outside of his vision, taunting him. Or that... thing that followed him constantly, it might be there. TAILing him...

🔥 He’s watching the water types in the lake, enjoying the show of them just... living their lives. He sometimes wishes he was a fire/water type, just so he can swim like them, but instead, Astro is here, watching them with the eyes of a Hoothoot.

🔥 It’s time to drink some water! Sitting peacefully across from a heavily wooded area (where he planned to go next, if uninterrupted), the fire type drank from one of his favorite rivers. It was a peaceful one, though, the high speeds of the water made sure that a lot of the things he didn’t want in it were, well, not in it. Mainly gunky stuff.

🔥 He heard a fire crackle, ears twitching. He raised his head and looked around. Huh?
