In order to achieve people's demands through movement to protests, people mostly choose Dhaka as the place for their demonstrations. The highlights of Dhaka are given below with some highlighting points:
Why choose Dhaka to settle:
As Dhaka is the main hub of government, culture, study and trade people mostly choose Dhaka to settle.People come here from different cities for their better livelihood. Not only educated people but also uneducated people come here with the hope to get a job but not everyone can fulfill their hopes. Some people get the life they want but for some they have to live their life starving.
Choose Dhaka for educational purposes:
There are many public and private schools, colleges and universities in Dhaka where people come to study. Popular public and private universities in Dhaka are Dhaka University,Jogonnath University,Brac etc.The most popular university in Dhaka is Dhaka University which is a public university which is ranked 132nd in Asia. Negative sites of Dhaka:
With benefits Dhaka also has some negative sites. Over time the population of Dhaka is increasing rapidly as a result environmental pollution like air pollution,Water pollution,Soil pollution is growing rapidly. For this huge population the number of vehicles has increased which is the common cause of air pollution. Because polluted air comes from those vehicles. On the other hand, due to this rapid growth of population, empty land is disappearing, houses are being built and trees are being cut. Which is the cause of soil and air pollution. Water is being polluted because people are throwing their household and working site wastes in those water. Many people can't find jobs because of this over population.
In the end we can say that Dhaka is the main central point of Bangladesh with its merits and demerits. The government should try to solve those demerits with help of the people of Dhaka. Employment should be created outside Dhaka as well so the population loads in Dhaka and decreases.
