1. i can’t believe they’re literally fighting it out IN ARTICLE UPDATES. so ridiculous 2. scummy of riot to hit up jacob wolf and try to make themselves look better by giving him another reason for kicking immortals. obviously this second reason isn’t even that relevant. also, please lmk which lcs teams if any are actually operating at a profit.

full offense it’s totally ridiculous that IMT isn’t getting a spot in LCS. they’re a great team with an owner who has done everything right. the ONLY reason they could be getting kicked out is their LA OWL spot. i can’t believe riot is this petty
ok i guess i should explain this a bit more lol
so IMT owns the LA based Overwatch League team. riot perceives that as a conflict of interest and thus let them go from LCS.
here’s why i think that’s dumb:
1. immortals is the only new team in the LCS to successfully grow their own significant fanbase in… two years? maybe more. they have so much to bring to the table in terms of viewership and LCS fanbase.
2. it makes no sense that riot drops orgs for being involved in overwatch. sure, the IMT overwatch team happens to be LA based. LCS takes place in LA. that DOESN’T mean IMT overwatch will reduce IMT league support (?!!). people can be fans of two things at once. if like the LA Angels (baseball), can’t I also like the LA Lakers (basketball)? supporting one game doesn’t mean you don’t support another. this move shows how insecure riot is about league’s competition with overwatch as an esport.

It was hilarious to watch the whole stream with Bang pretty much going man mode and had a poker face on the whole time. The 2 younger ones though, Peanut & Sky were like cowering in the corner with Faker looking amused but a bit scared LOL
Obviously I only translated the part when Bang left, and the 3 had to play by themselves but you guys should watch the whole stream. Was hilarious af ahaha

Thoughts on IMT’s “The Conclusion of Immortals LCS Spring Split”
I just wanna give a brief intro about myself before I jump right into this: I’m a Communication Studies major and also coaching the girls’ tennis JV team (while helping maintain the team) and the boys’ tennis Frosh team (while assisting the head coach for the boys’ team however I can and learning from him). So most of my criticism is based off of what I’ve seen with the tennis teams. I’ve played League since March 2012. Stopped playing it May 2016 but I still follow the pro aspect of the game. I’m not expecting everyone to agree with me; I’m posting this because I have critique on the matter.
Context: Immortals posted a video on May 10, 2017 titled “The Conclusion of Immortals LCS Spring Split.” Of course, we don’t have the full story. All we have is a 4 minute clip of what Immortals appeared to be. But I’ll be looking at Immortals and what I think of them to each player as well as Hermes, the coach.
