Scholarly Seraph - the demi goddess guardian guardian of the Esoteric University of Sorcery’s Sunken Library

Here’s the sketches I made for this, I had a concept for the character in my head already and knew I wanted something that showed off her wings and was dramatic af

This is actually an image I’ve tried to paint a few times

This first one in 2019, but I didn’t have the skills to execute my concept and her design wasn’t as strong.

And also back in 2015, I gave up before I even finished sketching her figure, you can see I left myself notes😂

Master Chiaroscurist 🤍🖤

I’ve been working on designing the professors and lecturers of my world-building project. This is Khepri she’s the head of chiaroscuro in the College of Erudite Arts

Here’s a closeup and a wee looky at the mural that’s behind her

Her outfit was inspired by this look from Balmain’s summer 2019 collection. Which I stumbled on as I tried to work out how I wanted to create something ancient Egyptian-esuqe, high fantasy and black & white.

And there’s a character I drew back in 2020 that I’m thinking now is probably one of her students
