I started with Liveship Traders and do not regret it for one second. Currently half way through Mad Ship and Robin Hobb is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. Her ability to immerse me in this character driven world blew my mind, especially when I generally prefer much faster paced books with more a immediate payoff. These books are SO good!
