For someone to truly atone they need the perfect judge, jury, and executioner, all in a single individual.

Maybe it's on the nose, but subtlety is not always the goal.

I wanted a symbol of rebellion. What better choice than the woman who has gone down in history as "the rebellious wife". If you ask me, though, I think she's more than that.

I'm surprised. I mean, all the Ashleys are not good people. They're self-obsessed, mean, backstabbers who try to be politically correct, but in the end, they don't actually care about anyone that's not themselves. But, I guess I can see where you come from.

Ashley D. can be a lot, I won't get into all the mess. But you must've noticed she acts like she doesn't care about her friends when actually she does, a lot. Vaani knows this. When she criticizes her fashion choices, she does it because she wants her to look her best. In chapter 8, You had me from that moment, she even tells Vaani they should go to college together to get out of Downtown Sudbury, Ontario.

Ashley D. cares in her own way, and to be honest, Vaani cares for her too. Honestly, who knows, maybe they'll make it out and study together in London or NYC.

Also, "follow for follow"? What's so important about a follow? I mean, it's not gonna change anything. Why should a number on your profile determine how worthy you are, or if you're allowed to associate with certain people? God forbid we all just use social media as we please instead of dying for the approval of conceited assholes, with peas for brains, who can't even begin to see the world outside of the lens of their own self-actualization.

Shelby? I don't know any Shelbys. Or did you mean Cheryl? The prom comittee's president from my story The Tale of Vaani Thorn? I've mentioned a few times now that she can be seen with a different guy every week or so. She's not the type to actually be with one guy for long, so there's really no answer to that question.

You know what I think? I think... that you're jealous. I'm right, aren't I? You're jealous because you can't get a boyfriend even if you tried.

You're probably so obsessed with what others think of you that you can't even begin to imagine what it's like to be with someone. To adjust your own wants and needs to match those of a person that you love and that you care about so that you can challenge yourselves to be better, stronger versions of yourselves.
