Gardenia - Top five favorite people?

Nara: My top five favorite people are my family.

Taro: It would have to be Nara, Midas, Skye, Meowscles and either Tina or Brutus, I can't really decide.

Lavender - Hot chocolate or coffee

Nara: It would have to be hot chocolate, I've never been a big fan of coffee and I tend to drink hot chocolate a lot during winter since Emil seemingly has a never ending supply of it.

Taro: I'd also have to go with hot chocolate, when I was living with Nara hot chocolate was something we'd drink when December hit.

1.) What’s your favourite music genre?

Mun - Kpop! It's something I really got into a few years ago and I've been really enjoying it.

Nara - Heavy metal! I listen to so many bands and have lots of playlists for it.

3.) Which music genre is your least favourite?

Mun - Country for both, my aunt plays country all the time and I can't stand it, I hate every song except for Before He Cheats, that's the only country song I will listen to.

9.) What song do you listen to when you feel sad?

Mun - Fancy by Twice, because of the happy beats and because it makes me thing about my baby (@/atimelessworld uwu)

Nara - Macintosh plus, I'm not quite sure why it cheers me up, maybe it's the melody.

19.) Do you listen to music while doing schoolwork/work/writing/doing art?

Mun - Sometimes, and usually when I do I have a vaporwave or lofi songs playing since they're more chilled out unlike the kpop songs I listen to.

Nara - Yes, I usually just put on a relaxing music playlist on since it's not loud like my favorite songs and when the boys or the girls decide to hang out with me I don't have to turn it down or change it.

Taro - I do gardening! It's a good hobby of mine I've always been into and I've been doing it more and more frequently since I've gone sober.

Luxe - I make earrings! So far all the ones I've made have been for my own use but I've been setting up a online shop to sell some.

It was a normal day for Femi, she was walking around Lazy for possibly the fourth time that day with nothing better to do. She was starting to head home when she suddenly stopped and watched as a girl- who looked exactly like her- exit a store. Femi quickly looked over the girl several times, trying to make sure she was just seeing things but to her surprise what she saw was real. Wanting to get to the bottom of the situation she yelled out: "Hey you! Why do you look like me?!"

Exiting one of Lazy’s stores for some small snacks and a couple household items, Jasmine had stopped in her tracks when she was yelled at. Her shoulders tensed and she turned around to look at the source of the shout.

Another girl that looked like her, but smaller, which would’ve made her laugh if she weren’t terrified of the situation. They.. definitely looked alike, but different style almost. Finally saying something, she pointed at Femi.

“Me?! I should be asking you that, why do you look like me? Are you like, a clone?!” She held her bags tighter, a little unsettled.

"Me? A clone?! As if! I had biological parents!"

Femi took a few steps closer to the other.. her, noticing the slight difference in their height. "And besides, if I were a clone we would be the same height and have the same eye colors, clones are suppose to be identical afterall." What Femi spoke was true, she was a few inches shorter than the other her and her eye colors were of a unusual light gold color.

"Yet there's bound to be a explanation for this, we might have to ask my mom. She's kinda like a scientist, she knows a bunch of that confusing information so she's bound to have a reason for this.. or at least know someone who does."

‘Had’? Shit.. Jasmine looked at the other sadly before replying. “I uh... had parents too. I’m sorry that something happened to them.”

As Femi got closer, Jasmine stumbled for a moment. It felt extremely weird to have someone almost like her practically eyeing her. “That’s.. true. But sometimes clones after a while may not come out all the same? At least that’s what I see in most... situations like this?”

Didn’t the other.. her, say she ‘had’ parents? Did she get adopted or taken in somewhere? “How can I know if I trust you?” Cautiously asking, Jasmine rose an eyebrow.

“No offence really, but I’m slightly uneasy about this, and you telling me your ‘mom’ might know about what this is, kinda unsettles me. It could be some weird multi-verse crap, or we’re just, really really high.” She laughed a little at the end, making light of the situation.

"Oh.. sorry about what happened to yours too.."

"For starters, I haven't harmed you and I'm just as confused about this situation as you are"

"I understand what you mean but in a technical sense it's kinda her job to know stuff about that with her position and all, she studies space and all that and sometimes abnormal events that happen, especially with everything that's happen on the old island.. Athena? Say, did you live there or have you always lived here?"

"If it is something like a multi-verse then it must be something new happening or else I would have heard something about that ages ago, this island isn't that huge"

Femi shifted her weight on her legs a bit. "That wouldn't be the case, my mom is a pretty relaxed person but she's super strict when it comes to getting high or drinking, though it's mainly to protect me and my little sister."

“I appreciate that, really.. but it looks like you’ve got an awesome mom.” Jasmine smiled lightly.

“Okay. Yeah true, but better safe than sorry, if you get what I mean.”

“Oh! I think I knew someone like that, right now it’s.. blurry. And yeah, I did live on the old island. I have some burns- from a volcano. Then, my eyes kinda lost colour so all I could see was grey, and it.. really sucked. They’ve gotten better, or well, I’ve gotten used to it even if it’s weird.”

Multi-verse did seem like something that could happen with the two weird islands, weird phenomenons happen a lot for some odd reason. “I suppose you’re right about that... but I have seen cube or shadow versions of people from this island and the old one.”

“Before I came to the island, I dabbled with some stuff with two close friends. Edibles and such isn’t everyone’s thing, but honestly if I could get my hands on anything for me to just, mello out? I think I’d finally be able to chill.” She nodded, thinking about how her parents were somewhat protective on some subjects.

“Your mom sounds sweet, and a little sister? Does she collect people who need parental figures?” She joked, but she’s seen a fair share of mom friends and such. “I suppose you’ll lead the way? Of course I don’t know where your mom lives, haha.”

"Yea she's pretty cool! It's okay I understand"

"Woah! It sounds like you had a pretty wild experience! I'm not really allowed to mess with anything crazy. Shadow people? I think I might have heard something about that before"

Femi smiled, "Yea she's pretty sweet, and ironically enough my little sister was adopted before I was. My dads, well they aren't technically my dads yet since they aren't married I just call them that, like to joke about that with her but she just has this massive motherly aura with her."

"Oh yeah follow me, we aren't far." Femi spoke turning to her left where a collection of houses were and began walking. The two headed to what seemed like the largest house in the area and stopped at the door. "Before we enter I have to tell you that you'll have to change into slippers, we have a lot of spares in a box so you'll probably find a pair you need and my mom and my tall dad can be pretty intimidating."

Opening the door, the two walked in, Femi began to change shoes and started speaking once again, this time it was directed to the tall woman in the kitchen- she seemed focused on what she was making and and kept her gaze set in front of her.

“Ehh, sometimes. Most experiences with them were good, other than that, they made sure to protect me since I was the smallest outta the group. And the shadow and cube people were... kinda creepy to be fair.”

“Oh, ‘dads’? Are they in some sort of poly relationship? My parents experimented with that kind of stuff, before they had me of course.” ‘A huge motherly aura’, huh? Must be a really good adoptive mother to have already had a little girl.

Jasmine nodded and followed Femi, on the way she fiddled with the bags she held. As the other her spoke about slippers, she rose an eyebrow in confusion before nodding once again. “Okay, I’ll stick with you then.”

As they walked in, Jasmine looked around and found the box of extra slippers. Nervously looking around for somewhere to put her bags, she put them on a higher spot, to make sure they wouldn’t be trampled. She went back to put on slippers and slowly followed behind Femi.

Some things in the house seemed oddly familiar, but she didn’t dare wander away incase she got lost. Her gaze went onto the other woman Femi spoke to , wow she was tall! Not to be rude, she lifted her hand slightly in a wave. First introductions normally are important.

"Yea! One of them is pretty tall like my mom and then the other one is average height, me and my sis usually call em dad and pa but then mr and mr can be a bit confusing so we mainly have people call them by their real names, Emil and Ryder, though you probably won't see them unless you stay until the evening since they're pretty busy"

"Oh really? That sounds pretty cool, my parents didn't really do anything fun. They were pretty boring."

In the house Femi made way to the living room, plopping down on a couch next to a sleeping white cat before speaking. "Hey ma, do you think you can help me and my... new friend with a science thing? We.. uh tried to look it up but it was full of those confusing words and we were hoping you could dumb it down for us."

Her mother gave a nod, still keeping her eyes on what's infront of her. "A new friend? You're becoming quiet the social butterfly, sweetheart. Well just tell me the question you need help with, I'll do some research when I'm done prepping."

"Well we need some information about uh.. multi-verses and if it's possible for it to happen here if it hasn't happened already." Femi spoke nervously.

"Now why do you two want to know that?" Her mother stopped her prepping as she turned her head to the living room where the two girls sat, slightly taken aback by seeing them. She blinked a few times to back sure she wasn't hallucinating. "Alright.. now I understand the reason.. well give me a minute and I'll see if I have anything about it" The mother spoke as she wiped her hands on her apron and disappeared upstairs.

“My parents were really encouraging with me learning things on my own, but I wish they weren’t so carefree back then.”

“Wow, their genetics must be really good for them to be that tall!” Jasmine has always been the smallest in most groups, the puppy basically.

Seeing the white cat, she gently reached over to pet it lightly, before turning to Femi’s Ma. She stared for a moment, before looking at Femi. “She doesn’t.. really seem fazed, does she? Aside from the blinking of course.”

Watching as the taller woman disappeared upstairs, she fidgeted for a moment. A book on multi-verses? Who in the world would have a book on such a thing? Apparently Femi’s mom..

"Oh my ma has seen a lot things while on the both of the islands, it takes a lot to faze her now!" Femi exclaimed, she could talk about some of the things that her mom has gone through but it would rather alarming to the other her.

"Oh say, we never gave each other our names, mine's Femi, but most of the time people call me Luxe."

A minute or so passed before Femi's mother came back downstairs with a book in her hands and took a seat on a couch adjacent of the girls. "In this case a multi-verse would be capable with rifts which have recently opened up again after a spaceship was discovered. It's a bit complicated to explain but basically a rift is able to combine two alternative paths together with another rift, how this is possible is theorized to be when a rift cracks across the sky, and most of the time properties from both dimensions are combined, details about how it affects the people aren't really clear as it's been rather impossible to tell who is from a alternative world, but yea that's how you two are able to co exist!" Femi's mother spoke, closing the book she had constantly skimmed through during her explanation.

Seeing as Femi said it takes a lot for her mother to be fazed by things, it worried her a tad bit.

“I’m uh.. Jasmine. Most of the people who are close to me call me Jas as well, or, like your name- Luxe. Funny how we have the same name despite being from multi-verses..” She glances at Femi’s mom and smiled lightly.

“Thanks for the explanation, it’s.. odd seeing another me but different style, eye colour, all that stuff. I wonder if that counts for the cube and shadow versions of people on the island? I know there are many variants or people just wearing different outfits...”

"Oh that's so cool!"

"Well from what I remember the cube had incredible power, the best scientists on the island couldn't even fully decipher what we've belive to be a creation from possibly unknown areas from space. It could have worked along with the rifts in some way, sadly research had abruptly stopped due to unknown health issues so we don't have a full concept of it or it's creations... Welp I better finish up what I was doing, feel free to look at the book if you're curious or just do whatever you need to. Oh, and feel free to call me Nara." With that Nara placed the book on the coffee table and headed back to the kitchen.

Femi turned to Jasmine, tilting her head a bit as she did so, "Wanna do anything fun? But if you gotta head home that's okay"

“The cube was a weird entity that’s for sure.. same with the Nexus. Same with the volcanoe.. Luckily I wasn’t around for the cube, the other two did a number.” Picking up the book to skim its contents, she cringed at the memory of what the other strange things on the old island did to her and others.

“The old island.. really messed with people. And now this island might as well.” Sighing, she closed the book.

“Yeah I’ve got time, I live with some friends, they usually know I’m out the majority of the day.” Putting down the book back onto the coffee table, Jasmine looked at Femi. “What do you have in mind?”

She was starting to head home when she suddenly stopped and watched as a girl- who looked exactly like her- exit a store. Exiting one of Lazy’s stores for some small snacks and a couple household items, Jasmine had stopped in her tracks when she was yelled at. Her shoulders tensed and she turned around to look at the source of the shout.

Another girl that looked like her, but smaller, which would’ve made her laugh if she weren’t terrified of the situation. They.. definitely looked alike, but different style almost. Finally saying something, she pointed at Femi.

“Me?! I should be asking you that, why do you look like me? Are you like, a clone?!” She held her bags tighter, a little unsettled.

"Me? A clone?! As if! I had biological parents!"

Femi took a few steps closer to the other.. her, noticing the slight difference in their height. "And besides, if I were a clone we would be the same height and have the same eye colors, clones are suppose to be identical afterall." What Femi spoke was true, she was a few inches shorter than the other her and her eye colors were of a unusual light gold color.

"Yet there's bound to be a explanation for this, we might have to ask my mom. She's kinda like a scientist, she knows a bunch of that confusing information so she's bound to have a reason for this.. or at least know someone who does."

‘Had’? Shit.. Jasmine looked at the other sadly before replying. “I uh... had parents too. I’m sorry that something happened to them.”

As Femi got closer, Jasmine stumbled for a moment. It felt extremely weird to have someone almost like her practically eyeing her. “That’s.. true. But sometimes clones after a while may not come out all the same? At least that’s what I see in most... situations like this?”

Didn’t the other.. her, say she ‘had’ parents? Did she get adopted or taken in somewhere? “How can I know if I trust you?” Cautiously asking, Jasmine rose an eyebrow.

“No offence really, but I’m slightly uneasy about this, and you telling me your ‘mom’ might know about what this is, kinda unsettles me. It could be some weird multi-verse crap, or we’re just, really really high.” She laughed a little at the end, making light of the situation.

"For starters, I haven't harmed you and I'm just as confused about this situation as you are"

"I understand what you mean but in a technical sense it's kinda her job to know stuff about that with her position and all, she studies space and all that and sometimes abnormal events that happen, especially with everything that's happen on the old island.. Athena? Say, did you live there or have you always lived here?"

"If it is something like a multi-verse then it must be something new happening or else I would have heard something about that ages ago, this island isn't that huge"

Femi shifted her weight on her legs a bit. "That wouldn't be the case, my mom is a pretty relaxed person but she's super strict when it comes to getting high or drinking, though it's mainly to protect me and my little sister."

“I appreciate that, really.. but it looks like you’ve got an awesome mom.” Jasmine smiled lightly.

“Okay. Yeah true, but better safe than sorry, if you get what I mean.”

“Oh! I think I knew someone like that, right now it’s.. blurry. And yeah, I did live on the old island. I have some burns- from a volcano. Then, my eyes kinda lost colour so all I could see was grey, and it.. really sucked. They’ve gotten better, or well, I’ve gotten used to it even if it’s weird.”

Multi-verse did seem like something that could happen with the two weird islands, weird phenomenons happen a lot for some odd reason. “I suppose you’re right about that... but I have seen cube or shadow versions of people from this island and the old one.”

“Before I came to the island, I dabbled with some stuff with two close friends. Edibles and such isn’t everyone’s thing, but honestly if I could get my hands on anything for me to just, mello out? I think I’d finally be able to chill.” She nodded, thinking about how her parents were somewhat protective on some subjects.

“Your mom sounds sweet, and a little sister? Does she collect people who need parental figures?” She joked, but she’s seen a fair share of mom friends and such. “I suppose you’ll lead the way? Of course I don’t know where your mom lives, haha.”

"Yea she's pretty cool! It's okay I understand"

"Woah! It sounds like you had a pretty wild experience! I'm not really allowed to mess with anything crazy. Shadow people? I think I might have heard something about that before"

Femi smiled, "Yea she's pretty sweet, and ironically enough my little sister was adopted before I was. My dads, well they aren't technically my dads yet since they aren't married I just call them that, like to joke about that with her but she just has this massive motherly aura with her."

"Oh yeah follow me, we aren't far." Femi spoke turning to her left where a collection of houses were and began walking. The two headed to what seemed like the largest house in the area and stopped at the door. "Before we enter I have to tell you that you'll have to change into slippers, we have a lot of spares in a box so you'll probably find a pair you need and my mom and my tall dad can be pretty intimidating."

Opening the door, the two walked in, Femi began to change shoes and started speaking once again, this time it was directed to the tall woman in the kitchen- she seemed focused on what she was making and and kept her gaze set in front of her.

“Ehh, sometimes. Most experiences with them were good, other than that, they made sure to protect me since I was the smallest outta the group. And the shadow and cube people were... kinda creepy to be fair.”

“Oh, ‘dads’? Are they in some sort of poly relationship? My parents experimented with that kind of stuff, before they had me of course.” ‘A huge motherly aura’, huh? Must be a really good adoptive mother to have already had a little girl.

Jasmine nodded and followed Femi, on the way she fiddled with the bags she held. As the other her spoke about slippers, she rose an eyebrow in confusion before nodding once again. “Okay, I’ll stick with you then.”

As they walked in, Jasmine looked around and found the box of extra slippers. Nervously looking around for somewhere to put her bags, she put them on a higher spot, to make sure they wouldn’t be trampled. She went back to put on slippers and slowly followed behind Femi.

Some things in the house seemed oddly familiar, but she didn’t dare wander away incase she got lost. Her gaze went onto the other woman Femi spoke to , wow she was tall! Not to be rude, she lifted her hand slightly in a wave. First introductions normally are important.

"Yea! One of them is pretty tall like my mom and then the other one is average height, me and my sis usually call em dad and pa but then mr and mr can be a bit confusing so we mainly have people call them by their real names, Emil and Ryder, though you probably won't see them unless you stay until the evening since they're pretty busy"

In the house Femi made way to the living room, plopping down on a couch next to a sleeping white cat before speaking. "Hey ma, do you think you can help me and my... new friend with a science thing? We.. uh tried to look it up but it was full of those confusing words and we were hoping you could dumb it down for us."

Her mother gave a nod, still keeping her eyes on what's infront of her. "A new friend? You're becoming quiet the social butterfly, sweetheart. Well just tell me the question you need help with, I'll do some research when I'm done prepping."

"Well we need some information about uh.. multi-verses and if it's possible for it to happen here if it hasn't happened already." Femi spoke nervously.

"Now why do you two want to know that?" Her mother stopped her prepping as she turned her head to the living room where the two girls sat, slightly taken aback by seeing them. "Alright.. now I understand the reason.. well give me a minute and I'll see if I have anything about it" The mother spoke as she wiped her hands on her apron and disappeared upstairs.

“My parents were really encouraging with me learning things on my own, but I wish they weren’t so carefree back then.”

“Wow, their genetics must be really good for them to be that tall!” Jasmine has always been the smallest in most groups, the puppy basically.

Seeing the white cat, she gently reached over to pet it lightly, before turning to Femi’s Ma. She stared for a moment, before looking at Femi. “She doesn’t.. really seem fazed, does she? Aside from the blinking of course.”

Watching as the taller woman disappeared upstairs, she fidgeted for a moment. A book on multi-verses? Who in the world would have a book on such a thing? Apparently Femi’s mom..

It's a bit complicated to explain but basically a rift is able to combine two alternative paths together with another rift, how this is possible is theorized to be when a rift cracks across the sky, and most of the time properties from both dimensions are combined, details about how it affects the people aren't really clear as it's been rather impossible to tell who is from a alternative world, but yea that's how you two are able to co exist!" Femi's mother spoke, closing the book she had constantly skimmed through during her explanation.
