the problem with living on a tourist trap is that bars…well, they were generally packed. Franco’s was a great bar, really, and their wine was to die for; the problem was that everyone and their mothers thought that too. Finishing off his glass of wine, he was about to get the bartenders attention to order another, before pausing. Drinking was never fun by yourself, was it? He turned to the person nearest to him, “Is it creepy if I ask to buy you a drink? I swear I’m not flirting with you, if that helps.”

      he’d just arrived at the beach ,  eyes wondering all around for any familiar figures ,  but none seemed to appear .  under normal circumstances he would  gladly  enjoy a quiet evening on his own ,  book in hand  &  sipping on some fancy cocktail .  this summer , however ,  was different ,  he was on a mission to socialize ,  or at least attempt to more  EFFECTIVELY .  a soft sigh fell from his lips as he made himself comfortable on the sand ,  while searching thoroughly in his backpack for sunscreen .  ❛  fuck …  ❜  he muttered ,  noticing the evident lack of supplies  &  judging by his light skin colour ,  he wouldn’t make it out without a  very bad  sunburn ,  which is why he decided to kindly ask the first person that walked by him ;  hence the mission .  once he laid eyes on said person ,  he quickly realized it was no stranger .  ❛  you wouldn’t happen to have any sunscreen ,  would you?  ❜  he asked softly ,  a slight smirk playing at his lips .

bringing the children to the beach was always a good idea. she settled quite a bit away from the actual sea, popped up her parasol and let the children play in the shade, though always with sunscreen. she could then sunbathe and keep an eye on the children, but they were generally amused with the sand and each other. none of them attempted to go towards the water, which they only got to go into when one of their mothers could take them into the water while the other stayed with the other two. three little ones was a lot of work and she rubbed her stomach, and a fourth one on the way she thought. why had she ever wanted that, she wondered. she smiled at the tourist she remembered from quite a while ago. “yes, i do.” she said and reached over for quite heavy sunscreen. “you won’t catch any tan with this though, i use it on the babies.” she told him with a chuckle and handed him the flask.

apparently, wandering off by yourself wasn’t a good idea–jordan swears she passed that same shop three times now. the island was beautiful, that much was true, but she hadn’t expected it to be so big. not that she was complaining; that meant for her to explore later on. but first, she had to find her way back to the hotel before they started worrying about her. “Excuse me?” she questioned the nearest person, a smile on her face, “Could you help me? I’m kind of lost.”

she was walking along with her three sons, two two-year-olds holding each other’s hands and then one holding her hand and her other triplet son holding her other hand. she just wanted to go get some milk and eggs, but everything with three children of such a young age was a hassle, though when someone approached her, she didn’t tell them where to shove it - though she wanted to. “oh, lost? what are you looking for?” evita wondered.

after a very long night shift, that seemed to never end, not for anywhere near the first time, by the time luna’s alarm clock went off the following morning, she’d only been asleep for an hour and a half. still, ever the passionate workaholic, she dragged herself out of bed and set about getting ready for another long day.

sable was here on the island to celebrate her union with her two partners, but she couldn’t help but be distracted by work, which meant she needed coffee. she watched a woman yawn at the same time as she did and chuckled. “we seem to be in the same state.” she said and then repeated herself when the woman hadn’t heard her.

The moon hung high in the sky above the dark water, casting its silvery light on the smooth surface below, as well as illuminating Amelia’s face. She was outside, watering and feeding the plants plant food when she heard footsteps behind her. There was no guarantee that they were even coming to the shop, but better to address the potential customer than ignore them. “Hi! Can I help you find anyting?” she asked, turning the hose off and turning to face them.

evita walked home from the park with her triplet boys in her pretty giant stroller. she walked towards the flower shop and smiled as she thought of getting her wife some flowers. she liked surprising her from time to time. She smiled at the florist. “i can’t come into the shop, because of this giant stroller, but i’d love a small bouquet of flowers.” she told her with a small smile.
