you know what? i can't fix them. in fact, they can make me worse. they can be the worst thing to ever happen to me.

Among many other things, Apollo is also a father.
I feel like it’s so often forgotten about that the general consensus as of now is that He’s some sort of a constant happy-go-lucky man that’s never involved into anything serious - or one that can’t ever be serious. I believe that to be a horrible way to treat someone said and believed to have been a loving father to many Gods and Demigods alike.
It’s about time He is praised as a father to many and a parental, paternal figure to many as well. He might be youthful, but He is far from naïve. He might not be married accordingly to the myths written of him, but not only do we not know how the actual God feels and what relationships He currently has - we also can’t claim He isn’t capable of being serious about family.
Apollo is a loving father, a guardian, a stable and consistent presence in the lives of those who look up to Him as a Father. That’s the least He deserves to be accepted about Him when so much regarding Him is already being ignored in favor of an easily digestible narrative.

On Divination, Being Right, and Being Kind
So lately I've noticed something about certain behaviors in tarot circles that has been sort of weighing on me, so I thought I'd talk about it here. I'm sure this behavior occurs on here, but this post isn't about anyone specific on this platform. This is actually more of a behavior I see in real life, for reasons which will become clear as this post goes on.
As tarot readers, diviners, what have you, we are placed in a very interesting position. Obviously we are not professionals or counselors, but oftentimes we are engaging in some fairly weighty conversations with vulnerable people.
I have noticed that some people will value being correct or providing an accurate prediction over being kind, and this is something that greatly upsets me. Especially when taking to account that our readings or interpretations are not always accurate, or we inevitably overlay our own biases onto our readings.
Tarot readings, especially those you are giving to others, are intended to be advice. If what you are doing in a reading is reflecting to somebody the things they like least about themselves or bringing up sore topics which you have no business discussing, you are an asshole, point blank, period. Especially when you are offering no form of advice or guidance.
I do not care if you think you are correct, being kind is always more important.
