I am unwanted. I speak the language of the unwanted. I sympathize with the rock in my shoe, it didn’t mean to be there, it was an accident, it happens. It’s okay. I love crows. They are beautiful, intelligent, creative, resourceful, they remind me that just because I am unwanted, doesn’t mean I can’t be all of those things. I have worth. I respect the weed in my garden. It has the resiliency to continue to live, thrive even, without being cared for; And, if you think about it, you’ll realize how much courage it truly takes, and you’ll appreciate the Beauty in resiliency, even if it’s “Ugly”. I am unwanted. I am ugly. But, I’m also resilient, brave, intelligent, creative, and resourceful. There is beauty in being unwanted, you just have to learn to see it.
