Lately, Mei had been spending much of her time on level nine. It was the best distraction she could get from that familiar feeling of restlessness rapidly creeping up on her. Staying in one place for too long did that to her. And her feeling restless wasn’t a good thing. Last time, well, it lead to her being transferred to the acedia. Though, she preferred calling it the “suicide squad” — the troublemaker in her always thought it sounded way cooler that way. “I’m hogging the space again, aren’t I?” Her words came out instantly as she felt a presence walking in, her mid-training. Today her poison was the Fray. And Mei knew she had been there too long already. With a grunt she gave the dummy one last kick, before turning around the face her fellow agent. A smirk formed on her face as she had a thought, her tone changed from guilty to challenging. “Could use a sparring partner... if you’re up for it.”
