She crossed her arms over her chest, the scowl still there on her face. "Oh yeah? Well, if you leave base to go put him six feet under, let me know first. I'd like to give him a piece of my mind while we're at it," she muttered dryly. "Believe me, I'd just about rather be anywhere but here, after the shitstorm he caused. There's some good ol' higher-ups I'd like a fucking explanation from."

“Somebody better get me some goddamned motherfucking answers right now or I’m gonna- ah, shit.” He groaned in pain.

“Answers? Odysseus is a fuckin’ bastard, and I’m trying my goddamn hardest not to storm off the complex and find him and kill his sorry ass. Hell, I’m trying not to kill anyone right now — so thank fuck you’re back.”

"Good old fuckin' Odysseus."

"Truer words have never been spoken. But seriously though, the real kicker was who the rat ended up being."

“So, does anyone actually know what the fuck was going on with the facility, or are we just gonna keep pretending like it wasn’t hugely inconvenient that no one could bake brownies in those conditions?”

"What do you take this place for, culinary school? And yeah, apparently we had a nice little hack. That shut everything down."

God, she was such a girl. And she wasn’t one to use the term as an insult, but there was no other way to describe her perfectly cliche behavior. It made sense really, the stress of the last several weeks finally getting to her once she was no longer constantly afraid for her life. She put up a good front though, but now everything was coming back to her tenfold. Adding that to the fact that she had still not allowed herself to properly grieve her brother, and it was no wonder she was a mess. Still, it didn’t make her feel any better about crying in the middle of an oft-abandoned hallway. This was, of course, made all the worst when she heard the footsteps of someone approaching…

It had been a frustrating day for Hera. Sifting through a debrief she'd all but demanded for to keep her idle hands busy — and to keep from killing someone, namely, Odysseus, had left her in an even worse mood than before. Fucking bastard. As she stormed down the back halls in search for somewhere where she could escape everyone, she could hear the faint sounds of what sounded like crying. Her ears perking up, she slowed her pace, looking to see where the source of the crying was coming from. "'s anyone back here?" she asked tentatively.

“I already know you missed me, and yes Cuba is quite nice this time of year, but I want to hear about what has been going on here. Spill.”

[agenthera]

"What hasn't been going on around here? Apparently, we had a rat after all. You and I shouldn't be allowed to theorize."

“Aw, man, I don’t want anything dangerous to be out there  coming in. No Doctor Evil, no Indominus Rex, nada, brah. I just want the power to come back on. Can’t learn nada while it’s out, yo, and I can’t watch my shows neither.”

"What'd you think, we were just randomly testing how well the power could go out? This isn't a...Disney movie, it's not going to be some random ass character running around out there. If there's anything at all. We've all been doomed to boredom, 'm afraid."

“You’ve taken the words right out of my mouth. It’s been much too long since I’ve inflicted pain onto someone.”

"No matter what the outcome of this is, someone's going to be on the receiving end of my wrath. I'm going out of my mind doing nothing. We're spies, not statues."

You don’t know me or anything about me and if you ever say that shit again, I’ll kill you and make it look like an accident.” Okay, so losing her cool and smacking them was a terrible idea, but it happened before she could stop herself. Adelasia really had strong emotions, especially like anger, but what they said was inexcusable. It took a lot to make the young girl break, but they had done it.

Hera took the hit from the girl, her tongue running over the inside of her tightly ground teeth. Sure, it hadn't hurt her—she'd taken a lot worse—but the fact that it hadn't taken much to get her riled up had definitely taken her aback. Sweeping the hair out of her face, she glared back at the younger girl. "Listen to me," she growled, her voice dangerously quiet. "You want this? You can't let a little shit talk get under your skin. Trust me, you hear a lot worse, and if you're going to let your emotions get the better of you, then maybe this isn't for you." The trademark malicious smile reserved only for her targets crept across Hera's face as she added, "And sweetheart, if you think you'll get away with killing me, you better relocate your brain. Cause if you try and kill me, I'll make sure you don't live to tell the tale about your failed attempt."

"I feel like I'm becoming a bat or something else that's only able to see in the dark. Honestly, waiting around for something to happen's the worst idea ever. Gaia's smoking something."

"Maybe then it'd get this show on the road. Because this is ridiculous. Doesn't take that long to fix a system failure, someone outside or not."

“You want action? Here’s some action for you.” Reagan took a Draw Four from her hand of cards and placed it on the stack of played cards in front of them. “Seriously though, H. When are you getting us the latest 411? Gaia kicked you out of the group chat or something?”

Hera's face twisted up into a grimace at her recruit's response. "Not the action I was referring to," she corrected, running her thumb over the edges of one of the cards in her hand. "Gaia kicked all of us from the group chat. She changed her number and didn't bother to inform the rest of us."

“You know we could always play Russian Roulette. Might not be that much fun for you but I’d sure as hell find it entertaining.”

"Oh, I'd definitely find it entertaining when all that cockiness backfires on you. Maybe we should."
