Hi! Are you still making games?
Trying to. Hopefully I’ll have something to talk about soon.

Hi! Are you still making games?
Trying to. Hopefully I’ll have something to talk about soon.
16 track album
Just released a compilation album, “Paths”. This includes a variety of music from different sources, such as Homestuck, my Ludum Dare entries, Slender: The Arrival, and other projects. Check it out!
I finally got around to making a remix of the theme song I wrote for the webcomic “Kid Radd” over 15 years ago. You can also download it from Bandcamp as a single:

Another Jam entry, this game was about a cat trying to climb its way out of a pit. It has 9 lives, but you can spend some of them before the climb to gain extra abilities, and each ability adds an extra instrument to the music during the climb. This track starts out with the menu/shop music; the climb begins when the speed picks up, played first without any extra instruments. It then repeats with additional instruments, tripled up to keep the track from running too long (except the last repetition, which also includes percussion).
I wrote this for a Jam entry in Ludum Dare 43, one of two I assisted with music. Since the game is a trip through a mysterious abandoned temple while under a curse, I went with a more ambient track and echoing piano to increase the feeling of mystery and danger, with a little bit of choir thrown in for good measure.
I wrote this for a Jam entry in Ludum Dare 43, one of two I assisted with music. The game has a retro feel with pixel graphics, and the creator wanted chiptune style music to go with it. The game switches between a somber cave scene to an action battle scene, and I used the same motif but in different styles for both areas. If you kill a villager, it plays a short music stinger, and I used the stinger on this track as a bridge between the other two themes.
Music from my Ludum Dare 42 entry. Full of Atari 2600 sounds, a little bit of Vocaloid, and some electric guitar on the second half.
Music for my Ludum Dare 41 entry. Just a short and simple metal guitar track, but I really like how it came out.
The music I wrote for our Ludum Dare 40 entry. I think this is one of the best semi-orchestral action pieces I’ve written (the action part starts after the slow introduction). Really pleased with how it all came out.
18 track album
Just posting again to let people know I’ve been continuing to update my album ‘Dare’ with more tracks after each Ludum Dare is completed. LD43 just ended, so I put up two tracks for those, both of them music I did for other people’s Jam entries. LD42′s track was also added since the last time I posted about it.
I will try to post more frequently.
26 track album
My tracks on this album: "Blue Blood Group", "Skaianet 2.0" and "Bane".
15 track album
I've updated 'Dare' to include 5 more tracks (the music from my Ludum Dare entries 37 through 41). Anyone who already purchased the album will get those tracks for free. Enjoy!
The music for my Ludum Dare 39 entry, "I Need A Charger!" The music in-game gradually becomes more intense as the battery on your phone drains. (This mix progresses the music a lot faster than it does in the game, however.) It starts out with chiptune music, then adds in electric guitar, and finally some dramatic strings and drums.
Ludum Dare 39
My entry for Ludum Dare 39, "I Need A Charger!" (the theme was "Running out of Power").
16 track album
The soundtrack to "The Consuming Shadow", by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw.
A musical puzzle game, starring Chromie the cat! Features music that is procedurally generated as you play!
Well, that went a lot faster than I expected. Chromaestro is now live on Steam!
Steam Greenlight
Recently, Steam announced that it's going to be retiring its Greenlight program in favor of something else. They're also taking the opportunity to review the remaining Greenlight entries and push through the ones that were showing some interest.
Point is, I got an email from Steam the other night saying that Chromaestro got greenlit, which was completely unexpected (I submitted it over 2 years ago). More on this once I get additional details to share.
