For the last two months I’ve been building a fancy die tray/holder with my dad. I designed it in Blender and did all the scroll saw work and painting. He figured out how to make my design feasible and handled the actual construction. The detail work on top is adapted from a design by Steve Good that I found on stevedgood.com. Here's how my original design looked in Blender:

The idea to make the top cover reinsert to the notebook compartment was a last-minute revelation. I should also mention that the felt carpeting was handled by my mom, and the drawer handles were buttons supplied by my sister.

My cousins are organizing a D&D one-shot for our family reunion. It's a train heist, so my character is a clockwork horse named Clipp Clock. He's a clip clop cop for the Royal Tick-Tock OPS "Click Clock Cop" force. He has a built-in heavy crossbow and typewriter.

Rounding off our D&D party is the gnomish ranger Gnora and her giant badger steed Asalbrock. I decided to get fancy with her slingshot and named it the Super Slugger 2000.

Here's another illustration of a D&D party member. This time for our flaming sorceress, "Ember". She seems like the most "normal" protagonist in our party so I gave her a fairly grounded pose.

Here's more D&D character art, this time of one of my fellow party members: "Nyx Heartstring". Real "Devil went down to Georgia" vibes with this one. She's a tiefling bard cowgirl who can turn her horns into a magical string instrument that sounds like a banjo.

I'm building a new D&D character! This half-gnome trickster cleric is a thinly-veiled adaptation of Lady Elaine Fairchilde from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which is something I've been wanting to play for ages. I just feel like that character has a lot of unexplored depth and potential. And to me she is the epitome of "chaotic neutral" I normally draw my D&D characters in a pixel art style, and this time is no different. I think pixel art is a great medium for designing characters, even if you're going to draw them in another style later. I felt like it was important for understanding a character this elderly to dig into her youth with her backstory, so I made a pixel art for her younger self too. She has a different name because D&D characters gotta have secrets.

I decided to model what I think Donkey Kong's "Mario Style" redesign will look like based on the blurry footage from the Switch 2 reveal. It probably won't have particle fur like this, that was mostly to hide the seams, since I made his limbs as disconnected blobs.

My Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker resource pack has finally been updated to the latest 1.21 version, and if you’re running Fabric Mods (list detailed on download pag), or Optifine, it adds things like custom entity models, 12 villager biome types instead of the usual 7, and over 400 visually distinct villagers. It also includes 5 new musical arrangements by pixeltea. If you extract the BONUS FEATURES folder from the zip, you’ll also find more than 400 skins, and some cheat sheets for how to access other additional content. Seeing lots of people remaking Princess Toadstool's sprite from Super Mario Bros, using the same number of colours and size restrictions, so I wanted to hop in with my own version.

I have a tradition of every-so-often creating a "Thumbs Up" collage encompassing all the art I've made since the last one. It used to be to mark the end of a schoolyear and the end of a sketchbook, but I don't really do sketchbooks anymore so recently I've been doing it whenever I get another 1000 followers on Twitter. But that place doesn't deserve exclusive content, so here you go!

Thanks everyone for showing your support of this project. Though most of the work has been in the last 3 months, this project started way back in 2020. It's been a lot of work in Photoshop, Blender, and 26 hand-penned pages. After all this time it's been great to see the feedback

Tallyhoo is the nerdy game master running this TTRPG for Peach and her friends. He also regularly inserts himself in the story as a mischievous and powerful imp. His storytelling is VERY immersive. Almost as if Mario and co have been sucked into the game. Tallyhoo joins the party quite near the end of their journey when the story and game world slip out of his control. So who’s the real villain?

He’s been in front of you this whole time. Staring at you with his singular glowing eye. This is HIS world. It was forged in his blood after all. That's right. You've fallen for the oldest trick in the book. The old.. "stationery boss bait-and-switch.”
