I created an oc and made a term for the kind of thing I made
I call it
✨Ficto-history✨
Because you know historical fiction, right? Where you for example take the medieval times and add elves or orcs? Well the difference between that and ficto-history is in ficto-history you change ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the world! You just put your character into it! I have an oc like that, Lavender Holloway, he's a 19yo plague doctor from 1667 England who's mistrusted because he's left-handed and people very very superstitious in those times! He isn't special or known by everyone, he's just a guy in history!
Basically, to write good ficto-history, you need to make a character that seems like they could plausibly live in that time, even though they never existed!
