Hiiiii welcome to my giant home :) why do I have a giant home when I’m just two inches tall you ask? well, it holds all my giant lovers, for every g/t genre. in this room we have my G/t Fearplay Boyfriend who just kinda chases me around all the time, and in this wing we have my Soft Giantess Girlfriend for when I wanna be held, and my Giant Demon Situationship lives in the basement - don’t ask. In the walls lives my Tiny Rival, they’re the same height as me, we make out every now and then. Outside in the garden is my Giant Elf Boyfriend who rescues me when I succumb to hypothermia and tends me back to health. he lives next to my Fairy Girlfriend! there’s also a Wizard in the attic. The Wizard isn’t in the polycule but we let them stay because they’re just chill.
had another thought about the stranger things duos: do flicker and fern ever leave their houses? because obviously they can't be seen by regular people, but do they have lots of friends that they visit? i know flicker has the hellfire club, but what about fern?
if they do leave the house with their partner, what are their favorite things to do?
they do leave!!! they’re very good about being sneaky, either they hide in pockets or somethin or they just fly separately bc they’re very fast n can go through trees and bushes. but flicker in particular REALLY likes car rides LMAO
so their story takes place in a post-S4 AU, but everything else from the series is canon. meaning everyone who was involved with the upside down bullshit is also trusted with knowledge of the fairies, plus a few bonus peeps (aka the remainder of hellfire club aka corroded coffin aka gareth jeff and the unnamed bassist who i have personally dubbed brandon)

both flicker and fern absolutely adore every single person they meet and they are adored in return bc how could they not and how could they not be. they do very much love the party, fern tends to get a lil mom-friend-y with the kids (not as bad as steve) but they all kinda roll their eyes fondly bc obvi the five inch tall fairy isn’t intimidating. she absolutely adores dustin which makes steve melt. she likes encouraging him to tell her about all of the stuff he knows and makes sure he knows how actually smart he is.
flicker loves to play around with them just like eddie, makes them feel like ACTUAL kids every once in a while. she’ll chase them around or make them chase her, hiding under dustin’s hat or stealing will’s pencils or pulling mike’s hair or tying lucas’ shoes together. she stands on the front of max’s skateboard and whoops like it’s a rollercoaster. she and el trade off magic tricks.
flicker also LOOOOOOVES eddie’s friends. she gets SO excited to meet them, i really wanna write a lil drabble about it. she’s super nervous tho which makes eddie totally short circuit bc flicker doesn’t usually get nervous. but she wants to impress them and not embarrass eddie, and she’s scared that they’ll judge him for the size difference thing. BUT obviously the loves of my life corroded coffin are absolute angels and they totally swoon for her. they def give eddie shit but it’s more about being whipped in general than the size thing.
flicker’s fav thing is that she really really loves going to hellfire with eddie, she provides special effects (fire) and npc voice lines (a fairy character eddie helped make special for her who’s sort of like navi in LoZ to the party). she likes standing in as a dragon mini and also perching all over eddie when he’s sitting ridiculously in his throne. standing on his head, shoulders, hands, knees, wherever.
fern is a shy lil babygirl. she is sooooo nervous to meet robin and ESPECIALLY nancy. bc obvi she’s heard all about the infamous nancy wheeler even if steve is over her, and at first she’s a lil jealous i’m ngl. she tries to pretend she’s not talking to her cuz she’s shy, but it’s really bc she’s beefing KSJDJS but eventually they talk it over and become friends. robin is robin, she just teases fern relentlessly but also dotes on her and teases steve about her even more.
she also VIBES HARD with jonathan bc fern is lowkey (highkey) stoner vibes but especially w jon. he mellows her out (bc steve makes her too flustered to chillax most of the time) and fern most definitely helps jonathan, eddie, and argyle grow weed KDNFNDJF (justice for argyle my AU makes sure he and eddie meet)
fern’s fav thing to do with steve outside the house is to do classic lil outdoor dates. they have picnics by lover’s lake or take lil hikes, or just spent time outside in general. fern likes the pool in the summertime
