BIOGRAPHY▸

Bella was born to Renee and Charlie Swan, though her parents divorced when she was young. Bella moved away with her mother, and she barely saw her father until she went to live with him at the age of seventeen, moving back to her childhood home of Forks, Washington. Being something of a loner, she had trouble making friends and fitting in at her new high school. Things were pretty boring, leading a normal life in the mundane, small town- until she met the Cullens. These were a “family” of vampires, doing their best to mask as normal human beings, though they definitely stood out. Edward Cullen, seemingly a regular seventeen year old high school student, took a liking to Bella, and the feeling was mutual. Things heated up pretty fast between them, despite Edward’s guilt at drawing her into his world, a place far too dangerous for a human to be. They fell in love, but when danger struck again and again, Edward eventually did what he felt he had to to protect Bella, and broke it off with her. Leaving with his entire family in the middle of the night as though they had never been there at all. Bella was devastated, the heartbreak being more than she could endure, and so when she was suddenly swalled up into the strange place called “Ocyn”, she was terrified- but at least it was a fresh start. Somewhere she could hopefully forget about the boy (vampire) she loved.
