Alice was reading. It was her favorite thing to do, but sometimes she got a little lost in it. She suddenly scoffed right as someone was passing by. She looked up at them. "Isn't it crazy?" she asked, flashing her book cover to them. "Books can make you feel all sorts of things. Surprise, frustration, elation, confusion, satisfaction - the list goes on and on and on! Isn't it just a little bonkers when you think about it?"
"The Atlantis coven is older than Walt's Landing. We don't need to explain or justify our traditions. Some things aren't meant to be changed." The some things in question was their history of human sacrifice, which appeared to be a hot topic. Kida didn't like it, but it wasn't her place to try and stop it.
“Wait - you guys still sacrifice people?” Alice’s jaw hung open for a second. Then she snapped it shut, realizing she was being rude. “Well, I hardly think you can defend something like that. And yet here you are.”
"I may be related to Mayor Faye, but that doesn't mean we're close. If you want something, you'd have better luck going directly to her. Sorry."
“Oh- I see.” Alice nodded, and tucked away her thoughts for Mayor Faye for later. Instead she focused on the girl in front of her. “No need to apologize, it was worth a shot.”
“she slips into something more comfortable, another reality.”

A lot of people tell me I’m a bit dreamy. But I like the idea of that. Of being somewhere else.

All the flowers. Would have very extra special powers. They would sit and talk to me for hours. When I’m lonely in a world of my own.
