Things I can Thank Steven Universe for
The show finally ended and I feel the necessity to make a short list about all the things I feel obligated to thank Steven Universe and all its producers: Enjoy! - Pearls, all of them- STARS I LOVE THEM; - Beautiful backgrounds; - Interesting use of shapes in character design; - Outstanting laziness; - Bad animation; - Over 900+ days of hiatus for nothing (since the very first episodes); - Ruining all the main villains with its bullshit (except Spinel); - Poor LGBT+ representation; - Rushed arcs; - Never letting Jasper get through her abuse and HW ideology; - Making Steven an OP character that can get away with just about everything, including murder; - Making Jasper fall for Steven after he murdered her, instead of using it to finally put an end to Jasper’s ways. (ACTUALLY MAKE HER HER OWN GEM AND MOST LIKELY A HEALTHY BEING); - Bad animation; - Lapis Lazuli is a thot who never really changed as a character; - Fillers being placed in the middle of an actually interesting arc; - Inconsistent characters, especially Steven; - Inconsistent use of habilities and special powers; - SJWs being born left and right; - Questions left with no answear; - Everytime they wrote themselves into a rabbit hole due to poor storytelling (and lack of plans); - Bad animation; - Bad writing in general; - Bad metaphors here and there, wich also provides bad (or confusing) morals to the audience; - Ending the show in a prequel (again, laziness); - All the sprinkles of racism provided by it; - Always forgiving the worst possible person; - Fandom notices the REALLY FUCKING BAD animation and just laughs at it like the quality of the product being provided for them was a joke; - Ruining a story that could’ve been REALLY enjoyable; - A toxic fandom who go as far as shipping pedo and making an artist attempt suicide; - All the ronaldo episodes. like. really; - The voice casting is nice; - Sadie CAN’T sing; - Bad animation; - Actually managing to trick thousands to think that all the things above never even existed and Steven Universe is a smart, revolutionary cartoon for all ages.
