The boxes have evolved into furniture. There’s company with us. You turn to the walls and suddenly they’re coloured with creativity. There’s a bottle of our favourite juice in the fridge. There are chilli plants in the garden. There are lemons in the garden. There are apples and roses and mangos in the garden. I am singing. I am singing. I am singing. I glance at you. You glance back. You feel something move within you and it hits you for the millionth time with the same amount of impact. You love me and you’re certain. I love you and everything is the way we’ve always wanted.

This is the familiarity of your imagination.

And you’ve plagued my ordinary to the point where it’s nonexistent in your presence.
