Molly raised her eyebrows and nodded faintly before stuffing the melting chocolate in her mouth. Thank God, I didn’t have to share it, she thought as the taste filled her mouth reminding her of Halloween with her father when she small or lazy winter afternoons on the couch.
"Well, that’s quite nice of you." she replied. "But anyway, I feel obliged to ask you what you are doing out here so late? Insomnia?”
"Either that or brushing past you rudely," he shrugged. But for someone that he held in higher regard for her perfectionistic and hardworking ways, he wouldn't actually do that.
"Menstrual cramps and their physical impacts and pain to the females of my House," he mentions flatly. "And tonight's my turn to fetch the hot chocolate." In his hands are the mugs, made lighter by way of simple spells. "Can I bribe you with one or am I a loss cause in the points deduction aspect of prefectorial things?"
"I knew Nearly Headless Nick had a girlfriend! Look!” Clarabel smiled, pointing up at two ghosts dancing, one being Nearly Headless Nick of course and the other one someone she couldn’t quite place. “Who’s the other ghost?”
He squinted at the two ghostly figures, just as she had pointed out, as if trying to get a clearer look, to verify that indeed it was Nearly Headless Nick and his unnamed girlfriend. He seemed to vaguely remember the ghostly stranger, having seen her a couple times around the castle, but because he was Ahn Kane, instead he replied, "It's rude to stare and point. You wouldn't want people staring at you when you're off and about being in love, now would you?" He gave her a look after a pause. "Unless... You're not getting off on this, are you?"

"What happened to you?"
"Is this because I forced you to wear the hanbok? Because I’m still not sorry and I never will be."
"Even if you are, you're not forgiven. Besides, everything starts with the hanbok. The hanbok is like Fight Club. We do not speak of it. Why are you here?"
...What the hell are you all upset about?
"Okay I know it’s after curfew and I’m a ways away from my dormitory and all, but can’t you find it in your heart to y’know let me off the hook and keep this between us?"
"No."
"I threw my pie for you."
"You… threw your pie… for me,” he repeated, a threatening intent underlying his tone. Dangerous enough to promise what was to come for the brunette with his poorly disguised threat; he was a short fuse that was ready to blow, a volcano that was about to erupt so splendidly.
He wiped the cpream of the pie off his face with one hand, flinging the remnants of it onto the floor. And then he laughed. Laughed like it was one of the funniest thing he had ever possessed the pleasure to come across, a dash of hysteria mixed into it, before it soon turned into a glare.
"You’re dead," he said, grabbing hold of his own cream pie.
She interpreted his body language as being offended, and though she didn’t care about his feelings, she quickly moved to apologize for her words; just as she had been raised. "Of course. I was just surprised to see you here, that’s all. I didn’t mean to sound judgmental - if you wish to explore your talent for art, that’s up to you." She pressed her lips together, finding little more she wished to say to him. "So… how is it going?"
At her apology, he motionlessly stared at her for a good period of time. Hopefully long enough to make her uncomfortable before waving her off. "Forget it. There was no talent to begin with," he said gruffly. "I obviously drew a mermaid but someone called it a sodding fish hook. Does a fish hook look that elaborate to you?!" he exclaimed, smacking at his parchment almost agitatedly for emphasis although there was no actual intention to show it to her. She probably wasn't interested anyway.
"Hm, nothing much," he grumbled, frowning. "What are you drawing there?"
