That was the thing about Aiden, how he seemed to infuriate herâ how he turned the girl who was usually so peppy and gracing a smile, to frown and roll her eyes more than she thought imaginable. Though moments ago any description he may have mentioned when it came to actions of teasing sparked a few images in her mind, she swiftly brushed them awayâ choosing not to get sidetracked. She couldnât help but roll her eyes automatically at his spectrum of how little he cared, which didnât bother as such, because she too didnât care about what he got up to, but it was the nature of their conversation that seemed to lure her into a childish debate. Leading down the staircase also, she quirked a brow as he spoke, shaking her head a little. âIf you donât care, donât make comments. Just ignore people, and their actions itâs just that easy.âÂ
âAnd rob myself of such stimulating conversations? Thatâd be doing a massive disservice. Though I wasnât aware my life was yours to dictate, sweetheart. Last I checked, Iâm allowed to comment on anything Iâd like. Especially when the stupidity attached to it warrants it. Case in point. Does the weather count?â His lip ticked upwards in the corner and he laughed. â As I said, I was merely making a point. What you do has no affect on me whatsoever. Youâre the one dragging the topic onwards. So either you care that I donât care or youâve made this so important to yourself for unfathomable reasons. Otherwise, you wouldâve already gone off to whatever it is you claim you need to be doing instead. What was it you said? Ignore people and their actions? Might wanna take up your own advice; dishing without being able to take it isnât the best way to make a point.â
