➤ BIOGRAPHY

Life, as bad as it could get, Aiden made the best of things in any way he could. He was raised by his mother, living in a shabby apartment but it was home at least. Being openminded and a social bug helped him make friends quite easily, which he treasured. Money however was always an issue and that caused friction often between him and his mother more often than not, even if he tried to make some cash in various ways.

His father he has no idea about, all he knew is that he ran as soon as he learned Aiden’s mother was pregnant. Though trying to ask her about him, she always shut that subject down, so Aiden had stopped asking about it.

One thing always kept him going, his art, his imagination that he could visualize and make it come to light on paper or canvas. People seemed to enjoy portraits so he usually did that on the streets and it made him some nice extra money. The only problem was that he had to get home before the sun would go down as he had always been night blind. As soon as the light went down a little, to him they went down a lot. Nothing much that could be done about it and he was used to it, so he did what he could in the morning en early afternoon to be sure.

The worst thing that could happen, did happen, his mother passed away and that left him on his own, trying to make enough money on the street to make ends meet. He wanted more out of life but how to get that when your start has been beyond bad?

It was while he was doing his thing out on the street, that a couple spotted him and recognized his talent. Aiden was baffled when they offered him a lot of cash for his portraits and they invited him to their home. That little trip turned into months of staying there, growing closer to them in various ways, which he didn’t mind.

However it seemed they had different plans for him, plans he didn’t know about. It seemed perfect to him when they told him about a school that would help him grow his talents, and even better , how he could get a scholarship for it. They failed to mention there was a price to be paid once he got there, one that he didn’t see coming.

“Oh, I’m sure they know it’s me,” he smiled.  “I only hope they’re too jaded to do anything about it.”  Atticus paused a bit, while Aiden spoke about remembering this place.  He had a lot of hard times here, but it felt wrong to believe everything would be gone from his mind.  He heard one time that the body still felt trauma, even if it couldn’t remember.  If he couldn’t remember anything, but had to deal with the occasional tremors and stiff muscles, that would really suck.  “I’m supposed to be done soon,” he said, voice quiet.  “I only have one semester left.  So I think I have to start planning what I’m doing once I leave, I guess.”  But he didn’t like to think about it at all.  He wished Aiden came here earlier.  “My mom never got that stuff, but I think my dad always had something of a respect for it.  There’s hope for us yet.”  But he hugged Aiden a bit tighter at that, at a wonderful compliment he didn’t feel he deserved.  Times like this made him realize just how high the walls he had built for himself were.  “Oh, good, that’s all I’ve ever wanted to be - a bony blanket,” he laughed.  Atticus kissed him back, heart fluttering.  Then he couldn’t help it, he just started giggling.  “Okay, what is this?” he asked.  That was a conversation that maybe was a bit overdue.  “Is this just like, a fun fling for you, or…”  He trailed off, not wanting to finish, his eyes doing the talking for him with a hopeful and nervous glance at the other.

“Guess we’ll see if they ever find out, even about this roof. I hope they don’t, I want to come back here with you.” Aiden said as he looked at Atticus. the memory thing would be weird but they would remember each other so he was happy about that at least, no matter where they were heading in life. “You should probably make some plans yea. Not much longer for you.” Which was strange to realize, soon Atticus would be gone and he’d still be stuck here for a while. A smile appeared at the tight hug and the kiss that followed. The next question however caught him a little offguard, yet in a good way. “What is this.. Good question.” Aiden smiled, a chuckle easily falling from his lips. “Fun fling yes, at first, but..I think there's something more.” Aiden wasn’t exactly used to talks like this but it was about damn time for sure when it came to them. “Not gonna lie, I have feelings for you, had them for quite a while and they scare the living daylight out of me. I like how you make me feel and how when we don’t see each other, that I think of you and can’t wait to see you again. So to me this isn’t just a fun fling anymore. What about you?” He asked while lightly sliding his nose against the other’s nose playfully.

It might not seem like the most interesting of hobbies, but the young professor enjoyed people watching.  When most activities surrounding her university had required her to be of age, she’d found other ways to occupy her time.  Partly it was in hope that by observing others well enough, it would reduce some of her social awkwardness.  Though it seemed there had been no such luck so far, watching the comings and goings of the island could be infinitely fascinating.  Especially given the unique social structure in place.  It took probably a little too long for Teddy to realize that someone kept looking her way, with more than just idle curiosity at that.  Rather than sit and wonder, she instead decided to approach the slave.  “You keep looking at me.  Why?”

Aiden always enjoyed spending time outdoors, accompanied by his sketch book as inspiration could come at any time and from anywhere. Today was no different when he spotted what was probably the sweetest face he had ever seen, so he couldn’t resist. Letting his pencil slide over the paper while taking glances over at her. But then he noticed she looked right at him. Shit. She was coming over to him and he kind of felt caught right now. “I.. hi. Oh yea, sorry about that.” He said as he stood up, turning the sketch book. “I just saw you and well, you’re gorgeous, which I’m sure you hear all the time but just had to draw you. It’s not finished but I think it’s gonna be really good. I’m Aiden.” He said in a nervous case of word vomit.

“Woah! Easy on the goods.” A chuckle sounded as he got patted down and was told about the latest rules upon arrival, being given the usual welcome package along with a collar getting secured around his neck. Colin held his hand to his head, just like upon his previous return a headache was coming on as memories returned to him. “Right, I remember this.” He mused as they took his phone and handed him a different one. 

Browsing through contacts, he smiled seeing some very familiar names while he walked out of the office. Though it had been years, there were still quite a few people he knew. It was so damn good to be back, he thought to himself, his previous time here had been a blast and he would be sure to make this time just as great. Inhaling a deep breath of fresh air, he went right in the direction of the cells to drop off the very few items he carried, a smile on his face when he wanted to leave the area again and saw someone just leaving as well so he held the door open for them before even having a good look at them. “After you.” He said with a slight gesture from his hand and a nod.

Summertime, the best time to Aiden as it meant being able to be out most of the day. He didn’t mind the trunks much as he wouldn’t wear much more in summer anyway. The only issue he had was that he burned quite easily so he was on his way to his cell to get some more lotion to make sure that wouldn’t happen before he would head to the gym area. Going to the gym was something he had kept up with since his former claim. 

“Oh thanks!” He said to the stranger that held the door open, something that didn’t happen much here for people like him with a collar, but then he noticed the guy had one around his neck too. “You new here?” He held out his hand. “I’m Aiden, welcome!” Aiden put on a smile, knowing for most it was a shock to the system to learn about this place. Yet this guy somehow didn’t seem phased much by it. “Let me know if you need anything?” He offered, seeing the welcome package, which told him he was right about him being new here.

Atticus shrugged, looking away a bit.  “Well, y’know, I have been here for awhile,” he said, quietly and awkwardly.  “I’ve handled a lot here, and I’m still kicking.”  Then he looked mockingly offended.  “Wait a minute, who said I was always getting caught?”  He was laughing, and it was effortless and sweet and he actually found himself enjoying it all.  So often Atticus found ways to joke around or diminish a moment, but he let himself just live in it for once.  Let himself enjoy the nice company that he so often didn’t have in this life.  He was loving being in someone’s arms under the night sky - it’s the kind of stuff he’d only ever seen in movies.  “I don’t know, I think we remember people,” he said.  “Or maybe we remember everything, and we just… can’t mention it.  The supernatural, or the punishments.  I hope I remember people.”  Aiden obviously was one, but he had made so many friends.  This was a significant time in his life and he hoped it wouldn’t be all down the memory drain.  “I’d like to see a nice gallery,” he said.  “My parents donated to a lot of charities and stuff, but they never put much value into art or anything.”  Atticus scoffed.  “Obviously, I mean, you can tell how much they loved the arts by how their artsy son is practically a whole ocean away to pursue it.”  That was maybe another chat for another time, though.  “I like being up here with you,” he mumbled into Aiden’s chest, propping himself on his chin to look up at him.  “You’re a real cozy pillow, too.”

Aiden laughed at that, he couldn’t help it. “Oh, I can see you not getting caught much but there’s always the risk? I’m sure you don’t always get away with the things you do.” Maybe there was something about how Atticus was that made him think, maybe he should l try to live a little too, he was way more careful than Atticus was for sure. Should he change that? Take a little more risk? Definitely something to think about. If Atticus could get away with so much, maybe he could too. “I just want to remember everyone, the rest doesn’t matter. I want to remember you for sure.” He easily admitted with a smile. Atticus was one of the people he cared about, possibly the most, or more like definitely the most. He had made some friends here in a short time that he didn’t want to forget. If he made friends already in a short time, then he was sure Atticus had way more people on his mind as he had been here so much longer. “I think it’s sad some don’t put much value into art, but their loss. Also when it comes to your parents, it’s just their loss that they can’t see how amazing their son is.” He smiled as Atticus propped himself up. “Thank you, you’re definitely the best blanket and best date I’ve had.” Not that he had been on a lot of dates but this one set his bar of expectations quite high now. Aiden tilted his head a little to press a soft but longing kiss to Atticus’ lips, smiling as he pulled away a little, letting the tip of his nose slide against his. “You definitely make my time here a whole lot better, never stop that..”

“Well that’s not a bad thing,” Donnie laughed, grinning at the other man. He seemed to want to have a good time, so Donnie was all for it, himself. He took a sip of his own drink and smirked. 

“No, I have not danced yet,” he said. “What do you say we get out there and dance?” he laughed. “We can enjoy ourselves and just have some fun.” He smiled lightly.

“I know right!” Aiden laughed, if parties were always like this here, he’d enjoy them all for sure. He wasn’t used much to drinking but heck he felt good right now. 

“Let’s go!” He didn’t wait for the guy and took his hand to take him along to the dance floor. Not that he was great at dancing but who cared right now? He sure didn’t. “Agreed, you seem like a fun guy anyway.” Aiden remarked with a smirk plastered on his face.

Bit sore.  Yep, and it was partly her fault for it.  Rowan wasn’t certain about other new rooming assignments, but this felt intentional.  Was everyone else rooming with people they’d been forced to hurt?  Or did she just have that good of luck that she’d have to watch Aiden physically recover for the next few weeks?  Never mind any potential emotional recovery.  She sighed quietly as she nodded her agreement - he wasn’t the only one that was sore, after all.  As much as she’d been forced to punish, she’d been on the other end of it as well.  “Too late to offer help anyway, I’m all done.  Just seems particularly rude.  ‘We’re going to beat you and then make you move!’  I vote that moving is just as effective a punishment as whips.”

Was she okay?  A snort involuntarily left her at the question, hand moving on the mattress to try to find his to squeeze it.  There was no end to her affection for Aiden, which had made having to hurt him all the worse.  “You won’t mind if I cuddle you at night for a few weeks, right?  Being aware of the whole injury situation, of course.”

Strangely enough there was a little smile on his face when she spoke. “They always come up with something new, but hey, you’re here now at least.” He said, letting his hand seek out hers to hold. “We’ll be okay, eventually. It’s harder for me to know that I’ve hurt someone. I’m not like that. I mean, sure, pain and pleasure in a mix, being a little dominant every now and then is fun, but this was something else, this had nothing to do with pleasure in any way.” He sighed, it was haunting his mind, his dreams and he couldn’t seem to stop it. 

“I mind.” He chuckled a bit. “If it’s only at night. Come here.” With a hint of pain on his face, he shuffled closer to her to move his arm around her. “Cuddles are welcome anytime, we’ll heal.” He mumbled while he pressed a kiss to her cheek.

“No, it was actively causing trouble,” he told him, a hint of seriousness.  “I’m the one that pressed all the cheese slices into the showerheads and left sliced bread all over the guard office.  At this point, I’m just actively trying to make their jobs harder with my nonsense.”  Besides, Atticus had gotten worn down to the point where he folded like a wet towel at opposition now.  And he hated it, so this was the best he could do to make up for that.  “I don’t know, I think you’re just really biased,” he laughed.  “Even I can admit I do some stupid stuff.”  Though he did feel immensely reassured at Aiden’s words.  He was still really inexperienced in relationships and he hated that.  The sexual component he had down to a science - but the romance and vulnerability part was still fairly new territory.  Unfamiliar, and not for a few years now.  He had forgotten.  Atticus let himself be pulled down with a giggle, settling over Aiden’s chest, his hand resting over his ribs.  “Aw, that might be the first time anyone’s ever said that to me,” he smiled, glancing up at him.  He exhaled, having to think about the question for a few moments.  “Honestly, I hope it’s not here,” he said.  “I didn’t think I’d be here after five years, but here we are.  I’d like to go back to New York at some point, but it’s so expensive.  Do some theater there.  Work my way up the ladder some.”

Aiden chuckled at that. “I get it and I’d totally do that too but I know the consequences here as well?” That was what he didn’t like anyway. “I don’t want you to get punished.” A simple statement but very much true, maybe he worried too much but he couldn’t help that. “Everyone does stupid stuff, I just make sure not to get caught.” He smirked a little before pulling Atticus down to stare up at the stars. This whole place just seemed to vanish from his mind, they could be anywhere else in their minds right now. His hand was lightly stroking Atticus’ back, letting out a relaxed kind of sigh. “Well, it’s true.” He said, nipping at Atticus’lips when he glanced up. As he looked back up to the start, he just listened to the answer he was given. “I doubt it’ll be here, can’t be at Uni forever.” He chuckled. “That sounds amazing, I love going to the theater. So I hope I can see you on stage then. I know our memories will be tempered with but who knows what happens after time ends here?” Aiden liked to think positively, even if he wasn’t sure what they would and wouldn’t remember at this point. “And you can come to my gallery, or I hope to have one then. Not sure yet what I want to do exactly, it’s what I hope to figure out here. Maybe have a family or something like that, own a house or so, or a nice apartment as I’m no good at gardening anyway so it seems easier.”

living with guilt | aiden & rowan

The weekend, to say the least, had been shit.

It seemed almost cruel that they were making the slaves move their stuff even as they were recovering from the paddling and whippings.  At least Rowan owned nothing particularly heavy, though it was taking longer than she’d like to move the hanging stuff from her old closet to the new one.  And then Aiden was there, and bile seemed to boil up into her throat.  She’d done everything she could to shirk the ‘abuse’ part of ‘use and abuse,’ but her hand had still come down on his skin.  Most of her knew she had nothing to feel guilty about - she’d been compelled and spelled, forced to do what she didn’t want to do on any plane of existence.  But that didn’t mean seeing him in his bunk was any easier, or realizing she’d have to literally live with what she’d done for who knew how long.

She’d used the excuse of being busy moving everything to avoid speaking, but she was done and could no longer do it.  Rather than face him, she flopped next to him on the bed onto her front to spare her own back the pain of being in contact with the mattress.  At least she didn’t have to look him directly in the eye like this.  “Because this weekend wasn’t bad enough, let’s add moving on top of it,” she groaned before letting out a huge sigh.  Rowan wanted to apologize, but the magic refused to let her do so.

Aiden had been sticking to himself since the punishment, his first group punishment for no reason at all. He wasn’t the type to get in trouble or anything so it made no sense to him, though he was told this was normal and bound to happen sometimes. His vision taken wasn’t so bad, he was used to that when the sun went down anyway, but he couldn’t hear either. Assuming it was the guards that did it was the safest option, but he knew that wasn’t true either as he had to punish others as well. In a way he felt sad for whoever had to punish him, knowing he felt like shit himself for having to do that to someone else. Lost in his thoughts, he was laying on his side on his bed when suddenly Rowan joined him. “I’d offer help but.. bit sore.” He shrugged a bit. “Welcome to your new home, roomie.” At least he could trust Rowan, that was a good thing. “Are you okay?”

Atticus laughed along, but the truth was Aiden was one of a pretty short list.  But he liked the compliments, he was never going to disagree with that, or make believe that he didn’t enjoy having his ego stroked in that way.  “There’s more out there than you think,” he said.  “They’re just harder to find, sometimes.  I think keeping themselves like, publicly ambiguous is to protect themselves.  But I think I’ve come across more nicer ones.  And there’s ample reason to not be nice to me,” he added with a chuckle.  “I cause too much trouble.”  Atticus had his fingers curl up a bit, to almost hold his hand in return, even if it was over the back of his.  He loved the comfort that one little movement brought.  “Well, I do talk a lot, so there’s a lot for you to ask,” he murmured with a laugh.  Atticus shrugged a bit, a slight hesitation on his voice.  “I don’t know, I feel like I can be a little jealous, but I feel like it depends on a few factors.  Someone who’s a lot like me or something?  Another slave I don’t get along with?  Masters are like, we can’t really control that so I don’t care so much on that front.  I don’t know, it’s stupid, I have no business being like that in a place like this.”  He waved his hand, to play off being casual.  “I have food if you’re hungry!  Snacks and drinks and stuff.  Or I can turn the lights off and we can sit and watch the stars or something.”  He felt like he couldn’t seem to sit still around Aiden, he wasn’t sure why.

Causing trouble, just those words made him chuckle. “Causing trouble or holding your ground? I mean I get it, especially here you gotta stand up for yourself sometimes. I don’t see any reason why anyone wouldn’t be nice to you, then again there are plenty of assholes around here.” He remarked with a bit of a sigh, like anyone with a collar, he had never expected any school to be like this but here they were, making the best of a sometimes shitty situation. “It’s not stupid, I get it. Think everyone gets a little jealous sometimes, I’ve just never had that feeling. I get pissed off if someone doesn’t treat you right but that’s about it and that’s just me being protective.” He said as he pulled his hand away to lay down and instead pull Atticus down to lay with him. “Been forever since I did some stargazing.” He chuckled. “You do talk a lot and I like it.” He mused while lightly letting his fingertips roam over Atticus’ back as he looked up at the sky.  “Questions.. questions.. Where do  you see yourself in five years?” Random questions always worked best in his opinion anyway.

“A million exes?” he repeated, laughing.  “You give me way too much credit - as if I have that kind of time.”  And most people didn’t have that kind of patience.  Atticus settled in, wings close - and napkins ready, he didn’t want to be too gross too soon - but he didn’t eat yet.  He’d relax here with Aiden for a bit first.  “I didn’t know her that well, actually,” he explained.  “I was here first, technically.  I built this really quick when I got here, because the business shuttered within like, a month of me being here.  Then it got taken over by a witch, it used to be a candy store, but she didn’t care.  She was good to slaves and sometimes I’d see a bag of candy up here from her.  She left awhile ago though.”  Atticus wouldn’t be able to be up here without someone like that anyway - some people might have been upset with a slave taking up his own little sanctuary on top of their building.  “Me too, the cells suck for that,” he said, turning more towards Aiden.  “I keep wanting to invite you to like… I don’t know, sleep in my bed with me or something, but there’s not a ton of privacy.”  Atticus gave him a happy grin, always eager to talk about himself.  He shifted a little, thinking about his answer for a moment.  “Oh, um… I don’t know, someone actually seeing me for me?  I’ve had people like, think they know me and make assumptions because of my perfect behavior, but…”  He trailed off.  It wasn’t like it was an act; but he wasn’t like that all that time.  “I don’t know what’s really a no, I just like being treated like a person.  I don’t think I’m really the jealous type, but let’s not push it anyway.  It’s kind of hard to really set boundaries here, isn’t it?  When we’re both slaves.”

“Well, yea! I don’t know about your dating life but I know I liked what I saw from the day I met you, so I’m sure I’m not the only one.” Aiden said with a little playful smirk on his features. He listened as Atticus explained about the shop and how he had managed to get everything on top here. “Wish more people were like that, good to slaves I mean.” Which reminded him of his Mistress, or former one. Forever a sore subject probably as he was sure never to get such a good deal again, he thought while moving a little closer, resting on his elbow. “Privacy is lacking in the cells but honestly, I wouldn’t care about that, it is what it is so invite me to your bed and I’ll be there.”  The cells sucked but he knew they could make the best of it either way as they seemed to do that in every situation anyway. Aiden let his hand slide over Atticus’ hand, fingers sliding between fingers, while his question was answered. “I don’t know you and I don’t pretend to know you. However, I’m getting to know you and I’m glad for that. Which is why I ask questions and love it when we talk, I get to see more of you, more of who you are.” He said in a soft tone and the more he saw of Atticus, the more he liked, there was no denying that in any way. “I’m not a jealous type at all, never have been. If you wanna have fun with someone, it’s all good. Just when someone makes you do things you don’t want to, yea, that’s different. I’d for sure get in trouble and it would be worth it.”

“I don’t really have any set plans,” Donnie said, as he got two glasses, one for each of them. He slid one towards Aiden. “I’m just kind of going with the flow and seeing where that takes me,” he laughed. He grinned a little bit at this. “Right now? I’m hanging out with someone who seems pretty neat.”

He winked at Aiden playfully, before lifting the glass to his lips and took a drink of the scotch, grinning and sighing happily. “Hits the spot, doesn’t it?” he said with a smirk.

“More like someone who is starting to get pretty drunk.” Aiden grinned wide. “Though hey, if that’s neat to you then I’m all for it!” It was hard not to pull a face to the drink and how strong it was but took another few sips anyway which seemed to make the taste improve.

“It’s really good, Sir, or getting better anyway. Soooo, have you danced yet?” Not that he had danced himself much yet, plus he wasn’t good at it, but the alcohol made him not care about that little fact.

“Oh, I couldn’t agree more.” Scott said with a smirk, if anything, he would have fun, though the slave might not agree in the end. “Yes, Atticus! You two mak a fine couple. Oh, it’s a little inside joke, you should ask him about it sometime!” He wasn’t going to explain the little nickname, which never failed to amuse him highly. “Ah young love, so sweet. The smile on your face says enough.” He said as he held out another drink to the young man. “Don’t believe we’ve met before, what’s your name?”

“Thank you, that’s so kind of you to say. I’ll surely ask him about it, sounds like a fun story for sure.” In his mind it must have something to do with the candy called Jawbreakers or something like that, so there had to be a fun reason why the man referred to Atticus like that. Aiden couldn’t help that his cheeks colored a little red on the young love comment, it wasn’t exactly something that had been spoken out yet. “Thank you, Sir.” He said, taking the offered drink. “I’m Aiden, and you?”

Margeaux cocked her head to the side and smiled softly. “Good,” she said softly. She was enjoying herself and the fact that he seemed into it, did make it all that much more enticing to her. 

When his lips pressed up against hers, she couldn’t help the moan that escaped her lips. She kissed him back, one of her hands bracing the back of his head as she deepened the kiss. “I’ve had enough blood for now,” she murmured against his lips. Her lips curled though and she smirked against him, before kissing him again, pressing her body against his. “But have I had enough of you? That, I’m not so sure about,” she teased softly, her lips brushing up against his as she spoke.

Getting bitten was a strange experience to him, partly not wanting to like it, but at the same time it made him yearn for more. The kiss that followed actually made it better, even if it was a bit weird to taste his own blood on her lips. 

He let out a soft sigh when she spoke that she had enough, oddly enough he almost felt disappointed which was another strange thing. “Good.. that’s good..” He mumbled before getting lost in the feeling of her body pressed up against his, his lips exploring hers, letting his tongue tease hers slowly before she spoke again. “Glad to hear that..” He whispered back, unsure why he was even saying that right now, knowing in the back of his mind it would be better to run, but maybe it was the hint of danger that attracted him. “Wanna get out of here?”

Matt chuckled a little bit at this. He was glad that the other wasn’t too upset and still seemed eager to enjoy himself. Matt was happy to enjoy himself with the other as well after it. He grabbed his own glass and took a good drink, sighing happily as he did so. “It’s nice to meet you, Aiden,” he said with a wide grin. “I’m Matt,” he said. “And I don’t know about you, but I think you and I are in for a fun night.” He laughed a little bit at this.

Fun was the plan for tonight either way and it was needed after having gotten used again to life in the cells. It still sucked that his former Mistress had to leave but now he was near people he cared about at the cells at least. It helped that he saw a silver lining in any situation anyway. “The pleasure is mine, want me to call you Matt or Sir or..?” Aiden asked to be sure as here one could never know. “I think we can definitely make this night a lot of fun.” He chuckled, taking a rather large gulp from his drink, letting out a sigh right after. “So what’s fun to you, I wonder?”

Lyssa allows her gaze to move unashamedly up and down the man’s costume, pausing momentarily on the slave’s collar before a smirk slowly spreads across her lips. “Of course I have.” She says as though it was too obvious for him to have even mentioned it. The vampire takes a step closer to him while he asks his question, her arrogant replies continuing. “It could be better, but I didn’t plan it so it hardly compares. Besides….” She brushes tilts her head slightly. “I came for the people.”

“I’m definitely not surprised at all about that, Miss.” Compliments were given where they were earned after all and especially around here everyone looked like supermodels to him. Aiden smiled when she stepped closer. “You didn’t plan it? I see. Oh, so did I, people are just so nice here.” Which might be an odd statement for a slave to make but he had mostly good experiences here, though he had been told he had just been lucky he just assumed people weren’t as bad as some made them out to be.  “Would you like a drink? If so, what can I get you?” It was a party after all so drinks were needed.
