I needed you to know that I absolutely ADORE how you draw Legato. Thank you for giving us more Legato 🥺 He's such a tragic character if only he had met Vash instead he could have healed and he would have seen that not all humans are evil 😭

I am more pessimistic about this. I think the conflict between Legato and Vash goes beyond their views on humanity.

Vash's ideal is tantamount to believing that Legato's perpetrators are "not deserving of death," and because his way of changing humens are too slow, the suffering victims are left with no choice but to die or endure. Even after they are released, they are told that it is immoral to demand the perpetrators pay with their lives. It is naive, hypocritical and arrogant in light of Legato's past experiences. Vash is not only the justice delayed, but also siding with Legato's perpetrators.

Legato is not Wolfwood, his upbringing lacked love, security and trust as a foundation. He doesn't understand why one should give bad people a chance to change, and he's absolutely convinced that, given enough reason, good people can do bad things. So the problem isn't about good or bad. I think besides the power, what attracted Legato to Knives is his decisiveness. He believed that only actions that brought immediate and tangible results were reliable.

His reconciliation with Vash (or rather, this world) requires in-depth discussions, a complete system of atonement, and sufficient time to build trust—all of which are extremely rare in NL (and even in the real world). So in my opinion, accepting Vash will not be as easy for him as accepting Knives.

Can you please draw more teen Legato when you desire? I love teen Legato in his little cropped jacket when he was actually kind of happy 😭 I just wanna see Legato happily eating sweets or something maybe macarons because they're fancy and he deserves fancy sweets 💕

I let him take it to eat on the way. I also changeed the jacket because I wanted to try this kind of design.
