Are they thinking the same as what I'm thinking? Maybe nah

Seeing different faces, different reactions, expressions

Some are happy some are not

Some are just staring at their food and in a deep thoughts

Slowly and slowly having their eyes teared up as of they are in the lowest time of their lives

These things made me wonder, Is there even just one person here thinking about God? The Goodness of God?

It's difficult to be in an environment where the basis of being intellect is you being good at speaking.

High hopes for the chance given.

Today is Sunday. Tomorrow is Monday and there will be another challenges to be faced.

It’s just so hard to find a listening ear that has no judging eyes and mouth.

Work seems so hard these days

Sometimes we feel like life doesn’t have any sense at all. We feel worthless, pointless... that’s when we are too focused on the dark side. Let us not be deceived by the lie and negative energy the enemy’s trying to inject in our minds, let us always be reminded that after every hardships, painful and hopeless moments there is always light and a Big God who is always there to rescue us.

16Technopreneurship: Technology and Entrepreneurship

16th week. Last week we were scheduled to have our prototype checked tuesday this week. And so we went to our instructor and have it checked and like we expect there is a function in our prototype that we forgot to make then he told to make and have it checked thursday 8:30am. On that tuesday, we are not yet done by 4pm then we weren’t able to have it checked we waited until 8pm that day together with other groups but he did not check even one group for it was already late evening. Thursday, we went to him but there was a function lacking again then he gave us extension but only few hours for he will check it on that day still, 4pm. Upon checking, notifications and functions still lack again. Again, extended on friday 4pm. But he didn’t able to check us on friday and said that it will be extended on monday.

Thursday, the list of groups who made it to the top 10 were released. As expected we didn’t make it. Mixed of emotions were felt. Sad at the same time happy. Sad for I know I committed the biggest part of the mistakes that made us not able to make it. Happy for we are not going to pitch to the investors that friday. We were not that ready to have such opportunity, I think. Another is a lot of requirements and projects should be pass and there such a short time left to comply those.

But despite of those, there is this feeling of sadness in me. Sadness that Technopreneurship journey really not about complying requirements it is about the bond, friendship that was build throughout the journey. How you face the challenges as a group.

15th week. A lot happened and like last week, we were still busy preparing for the pitching and at the same time we’re busy making the prototype.

From that moment when I was sick, the group seemed different from what were at the beginning. It’s like the team work that over flowed and the energy of the group dropped. The attention that was given by each of the member to the startup that we are going to build is different from what it is in the beginning. The CEO is difficult to approach and seemed to not have any interest at all. Always have an excuse whenever we approached him or asked him as to what is the plan for the upcoming pitch. In the end, it was still only us.

It’s okay for me at the beginning when we were not yet working for our prototype but when we start prototyping it is not fine anymore especially that what they can do about the prototype is only to rely to us BECAUSE WE ARE THE COMPUTER ENGINEERING STUDENTS.

The thing is even asking for an update about the prototype or asking what lack about the requirements so that they can fill it, seemed so hard for them. It’s hard for us 4 because he changed when we really need to be united the most for this pitching serves as our final exam.

The pitching for every group is scheduled randomly and we were scheduled the first to pitch for Friday groups. Unfortunately, the pitching was ruined by me. I was mental blocked and got so nervous when it was my turn and so I have to ask our instructor to start again from the top. He allow me but it was the same from that first attempt. I felt sorry for my groupmates until now. I felt responsible if we were not going to make it to the top 10. It’s actually fine for them but the feeling that you yourself know that though they committed mistake too, it was just nothing compared to yours.

Now, 10 is over. I am now hoping for a passing grade. God bless to us !

A misunderstanding happened last week. I don’t usually post something like that but that misunderstanding really got into me, that is why. The good thing is that we talked about it and the conflict has been solved.

This week also was the preparation for the pitching that serves as our final exam. We reviewed and modified the files that should submitted and explained during the pitching because it is not just about pitching the slide decks, it is also about checking the files that we made throughout this journey.

There was this main problem also that we realized, it was about the application that we proposed to our instructors and to our merchants. In all honesty, we were not yet encountered making an application. We thought of it as the startup that we are going to make because we know that android app will be coded just by using java language. Suddenly, debugging the thoughts into our minds and ask a alumni about it. Android will be learned in 6 months time

On the day the grade was release. We were so sad to hear about the grades of one of our groupmate for he told us that he failed on this subject. And for my grade I was actually a bit disappointed about it for why I had that grade and not same with my groupmate. Well, don't get me wrong but every time a grade in a certain subject will be released I always evaluate myself.Most especially that it was always a group work. But I erased that thought on my mind for we should focused in how are we going to help him especially that it is now final term.And just this last Saturday night, he told us that was just a pranked and he was just joking all this time.And we were like what? All this time? How about just told us the truth from the beginning? I know it was just a shallow reason to be angry but we feel the anger we were like being fooled.Another thing, I know that I lacked in this subject but I know also the performance I have given to the group, after knowing his grade I how I wished he never told us. I should be happy. Yes, I am. Really am. But I guess sometimes or most of the times efforts should be paid off or even just appreciated equally, rightfully to how much it deserved to be.

12th week. It wasn't productive for I was sick until last Wednesday. Although I am sick this past days I really want to communicate and contact them for me to have an update about the startup but my mother didn't allow me to use cellphone not until I am fully recovered.

Wednesday. That was also the day I did come back here in cdeo. And so I asked them about the startup what they did while I was not around, then they told that they already approached our instructor to report the update of the startup. And it was self reliefness that there was a lot of progress in the startup even though I was not able to help them.

11th week. We weren’t able to have our lecture day this week for it fell on august 29 which is a holiday. We supposed to have it on Friday but our instructor with all the CEA instructors had a workshop for research so it was canceled. This week was also a busy and tough week for us EE and CpE 5th year students for we had our thesis proposal defense. Because of that, Tuesday this week we had a meeting with the team and since we are composed of two EE, two CpE and one ME and the main goal this week is the user journey and the Merchant’s process of handling reservation and delivery, we asked our ME member if she can do the user journey alone and the rest of us will be responsible for interviewing the merchant again. And luckily, the whole group agreed. We also agreed that we are going to visit the merchant on friday. Friday. It was on Friday that we will go to the merchant but I was not able to go with them because I was sick. We supposed to continue the tasks after the proposal defense because there is an additional task this week but still to help because I am still sick.

10th week. This will be another chapter of the journey in this subject because now, we should focus on the development of the startup and its interface. For this week, we modified the slide decks, validation board and lean canvas. And since last week, our instructor were not able to check our lean canvas and validation board because there was not enough time, he just told us to set a schedule again for the checking of those. On sunday, 10th week, my groupmate message our instructor to schedule us on tuesday. Tuesday, we went to our instructor but he told us that we were not on the list of group who are going to be check. So we set our schedule again on wednesday. Wednesday, we realized that we were so lucky(in reverse) for we weren’t able to be checked again. And finally, our lean canvas and validation board were checked last thursday morning. Just like in the pitching week, there are things that need to be changed.

Also, we visited the merchants for the full approval and to clarify their interests to the startup we are going to make. And luckily it went out great like they showed us that they are interested.

Friday. Since this week also is the start of the weekly update report. We went to meet our instructor to report the update or the progress of our startup. He then told us the things that we should we know about the existing process or operation the merchants have. For example is their manual delivery and reservation. So for next week we hoped to already know this things.
