We’ve had a lot of fun getting to know everyone on our first day as an open site !! We want to take a moment to thank everyone who took part in making it what we consider a success. It means a lot to all of us that something we put so much love into is showing promise of being a good fit for folks.

We’re long overdue for another preview, so here it is! This is a peek at our profile application! It really fits in with our desire for things to remain simple. By eliminating a lot of the excess sections of an application, you can join the fun and won’t need to spend a long time thinking about things that may not come up again frequently. Everything is easily at a glance, and it only requires two images: one 250x400 avatar, and a single 100x100 gif (directly uploaded to the “avatar” section of the user control panel). What does everyone think? We hope to bring you a couple of more sneak peeks now that we’re less than a week away from our opening date!

Are you ready for our first preview? Here it is! Today we’re going to give you a peek of Aim True’s membergroups! At Aim True, we’ve been hard at work: attempting to alleviate the stress points of roleplay and create an experience that’s purely fun. This is, perhaps, the most obvious when you see our membergroups. Membergroups play a very important role in site rp. Not only do they make it easier to find characters, but their main purpose is to give you an idea of who a character is and what they might be like in relation to different plot ideas. Sometimes, membergroups are really confusing, with lavish details that might not apply to every character within that group - or a character may fit in with multiple different groups. That’s a scenario that forces an author to choose which way their character leans. So the staff at Aim True thought, “why not create groups that already feel familiar with our characters?” You may have already guessed that Aim True’s membergroups are the western Zodiac!

Even if you don’t enjoy reading your horoscope or think that you’re not a “perfectly rounded” Pisces, you can still make a statement about your character by simply using their birth date! Most people who engage with the English language have already heard of the western Zodiac, and have some level of familiarity with a few of the different signs - making character creation, and plotting, much less of a guessing game.

There is so much that the staff over at AT is excited about ahead of our official opening on October 4! This site has been under construction for over a year, and is so close to being ready for you! Some of the things that we are excited to share with everyone are:

Our focus on community - because characters are more fun when you know they can flourish.

Our simple profile app, that allows you to provide important information without spending several days on character creation!

Unique challenge events that not only create exciting new worlds to write in, but actually reward you for all of the hard work you put into them.
