“I completely understand that.”
“Writing could be a joy or completely the worst thing in my life.”
“You’re welcome. Ooh can I come along and look for one with you? We haven’t talked in forever.”
“Yes, yes, of course. I do need someone to help me lift it anyways, I might crush my tiny soul. And I know, I miss you.”
“Really? Good… So, I’m not going crazy,” she let out a sigh of relief. “I was just thinking maybe… Maybe something like… Revolving around being a cop? I just… Want to help people.”
“No, you’re not going crazy at all,” she nods her head confirming it with a soft smile. “That sounds amazing and I’m sure you’ll do an outstanding job at it. Helping people is one of the most greatest feelings in the world.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever felt so… Satisfied…? I think that’s what I’m feeling. I don’t know, really… Is this what it’s like when you think you know what you want to do with yourself–well, your life?”
“Yup, those are the exact feelings! You girl had just felt very satisfied. So what do you want to do with your life?”
“You got it Ains.” Mason quickly measured the door for her. “Seven by three feet. What’re you buying?”
“Thanks Mason.” Ainsley watches as he measures the door before nodding her head and writing down the measurements. “Got it and I’m thinking about getting a new computer desk.”
[deadpans] …You seriously don’t know that story?
[shakes head like a clueless little girl] Nope.. tell me it!
“Good. You may now enter.”
“Yay, so how’re you?”
“Great. Me too.”
“So what are you going to wear?”
“So you’re a fast writer?” She asked.
“If I don’t have writers block, yes.” she says nodding her head.
She grinned, “How long have you been working on it?”
Ainsley looks at the time before looking back up at Avalynn. “Um.. about like three hours ago?”
“Not until you dance.”
“Fine.. don’t laugh.”
“Perfect. I promise this will be lots of fun.”
“It sure does sound fun, I’m looking forward to it.”
[chuckles lowly] Remember what happened to Eve when she trusted the serpent?
[eyes widen] No... what happened?
“That’s an irrelevent fact.”
“C’mon just let me in your room.”
“That’s a lie. You seem very fun and I figured you’d want to get out for a bit.”
“Well, I’m not one to turn that down.. I need to go out and have some fun anyways.”
“maybe you’ll get some inspiration.”
“fingers crossed. now, c’mon let’s go.”
Avalynn got into the rhythm of her friends song and then gave her a sweet smile after she stopped singing, “I don’t know what you were so worried about, it is lovely.”
Hearing that she enjoyed it made Ainsley break out into a smile. “Thank you, I’m glad that you liked it.”
