Urgent Appeal for My Father’s Life 💔
I am begging you from the bottom of my heart, please do not scroll past my father’s suffering.
My father was seriously injured in the head after a nearby bombardment. The injury is severe, and his condition is getting worse. Doctors have told us that he urgently needs surgery as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration and potentially save his life.
We are devastated and completely unable to afford the cost of the operation. The surgery costs $1,200. So far, we have managed to collect $386, but there is still $814 remaining, and we must raise it as quickly as possible before it is too late.
Every moment we wait puts my father at greater risk.
This appeal was originally posted on 30 May 2026, and we are still urgently continuing our effort to gather the remaining amount.

in Gaza, we’re crushing pasta into powder Because flour is gone. There is no bread.
All the bakeries have shut down. There’s no flour. No gas. No food. We are grinding dry pasta into dust, just to try and make something to feed our starving children.
This isn’t just hunger.It’s famine.
And I’m just a mother — holding my son Hamoud close as he cries from hunger,begging for a piece of bread that I don’t have. He’s not even two years old. And I’m feeding him pasta powder — because there’s nothing else left.

I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.
Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.
People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.
When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.
I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

After we were besieged in Rafah for more than four days, the tent was demolished over my heads, my children, and my husband, and we were able to miraculously escape. For those whose story of escape was not complete, because they were able to capture my husband and he is now their prisoner after he was injured in his feet from the bombing.
