The two men Converse for a little while and laughed. James had his arms wrapped around his wife the entire time. He just wanted her close to him. The wind she started speaking to Steve he got quiet and nodded silently in agreement.

“If course I’ll be in her life”

“Ah. See, you’re out numbered. Two against one; Steve thinks it’s a girl, too.” Natalia tapped her husband’s nose and went back to nibbling on what remained of the cake. There only wasn’t much left. 

“Now we haven’t decided on names. We’ve agreed if it’s a boy, James will name him, but I get the girl’s name. I want it to be Russian.”

"I agree. I think a Russian name is very befitting...And it's definitely a girl. Bucky has no sense" he grinned wider, hearing the door and going to open it since Bucky had his lap full

“You know that’ll be her excuse for everything now” Steve laughed and sat down. Bucky laughed and hugged his wife “I know. That’s okay though”

“It’ll be my excuse and let me have it. I’m carrying your child.” Again. Natalia bit into the dessert and watched the two friend exchange small talk before the expectant mother finally spoke up. 

“Steve, to elaborate earlier, we really want you to be a part of our baby’s life. You’re out best friend; you’re really the only family we have.”

Pulling Natalia into his lap he grinned, looking up at Steve. “Can’t be too much of a disappointment. He has cake and pie” James Chuckled.

Steve grinned and held up the two boxes “They’re chocolate”

“Good. Gimme.” Natalia reached out for the cake and took it from him. Still sitting in her husband’s lap, she reached for the fork and began eating it directly out of the box. 

“I’m pregnant. Leave me alone.”
