thoughts that are a mix of official and headcanon:

greely's notes say that lightside is connected to hope, clarity, and imagination; while darkside is connected to power, emotion, and drive.

i think corruption is caused by a huge imbalance in internal magic equilibrium. during their capture even jamaa's guardians have lost their balance. zios has fallen to despair and has been corrupted by darkside. mira, in an attempt to compensate, has become overbearingly hopeful in their escape, and has been corrupted by lightside.

made my first ever masterblock yipeee. ofc had to be of these two, im tryna build a griza shrine in ajpw as well but theres a severe lack of good alpha items in that game. sooo figured id make my own
