From 30 degrees to -5 real quick! My usual Shirt-Shorts-Sneakers combo won’t do! I learned from the previous days and so i decided to up my layering game and wore seven layers!
Although a pair of jeggings and comfy uggs did a great job helping my legs not to freeze up, tank tops, a polo shirt, plain black shirt, a jacket, a down jacket, and a coat kept me warm throughout the cold winter day :)
On our second to the last day in Korea we finally visited Namsan Tower.
It was kind of a lengthy bus ride from Myeong dong, but nonetheless we got there while the sun was still up. (Just before it went down actually haha)
We didn’t go to the top because it was starting to get dark and the tickets costs 10,000 won. We thought it would be a waste to buy tickets for the seven of us when we have so little time left.
But on the bright side, we were able to see the lover’s locks and had brought one of our own! <3
It was one of the best year enders of my life to be honest. Besides the fact that it was my first trip out of the country, it was an incredible experience and I’d love to go back. <3
I can’t recall how 2015 started out for me, to be honest. I don’t usually document things because my phone sucks and even if i try i had a feeling it won’t turn out good.
Although I do remember how i expected the worst out of that intersession sem in June. Turns out it was one of the best experiences ever. To enlist in a class where you were certain that you wouldn’t know anyone then end up making friends and making a bond with people you never expected would mean a lot to you. Yeah that was that semester basically. I actually got good grades. HAHAHA.
And!! I turned 19!! My family and friends threw me the best birthday weekend ever! I wrote about it here too! (Check it out wink wink HAHAHA)
So the first semester started in August. (We shifted. Got used to starting school in June. Weird tho but at least we had 5 weeks off before the second sem starts) I didn’t really expect much from this semester. Though I promised myself that I will start being active in the org/s that i’ll be joining. Had a rocky start but I learned to love it more than I expected. If not for this org and the people in it I’d still be in a dark place right now. I was able to meet wonderful people, made friends with incredible human beings that I pray will continue to be a part of my life.
Those first 3 months of the first sem were the worst!! A lot of things happened and i felt as if I was sucked into a black hole. In order not to pull others down with me I isolated myself. Which didn’t really help... But I am so thankful that I was able to get out of that black hole.
By the end of the year, the stress in school was still present but it kind of was okay. I chose to focus on the friendships that had a positive effect on me. I chose positivity and I hope to continue doing so this year.
And how can I forget the best year ender ever? We went on our first out of the country trip to Korea!!! It was seriously the most unexpected and amazing trip! A good first <3 Though nothing went according to plan we were still able to visit several tourists spots like Namsan Tower, Myeong Dong and the palace. The cold and the snow was unbearable at first but when the time came and I was starting to adapt to the weather that was when we were a day away from leaving. But nonetheless it was one for the books!
This year I hope to gain courage to start doing the things that make me happy, express myself more, be productive and to stay positive :)
A week of stress, excitement, a ton of walking and shopping led to this day.... Our FIRST out of the country trip as a family!
Of course, my parents and older sisters are used to these kinds of trips. But for me and my two younger siblings, it’s a first.
AND DAMN I’M EXCITED.
Doesn’t seem like it, really. Maybe it will completely sink in once i board the plane, when it takes off, lands at Incheon Airport, or once i breathe in that cold winter air. I don’t know.
All I know is I’m looking forward to seeing a new place, experiencing a new environment (and season), and just see what awaits in the wonderful country that is Korea.
I wanna understand why my sisters love it so much. I mean besides the pop culture, music, and dramas, because i get that. I wanna experience the culture for myself. I know five days will not be enough but I’m sure I’ll gain something in those five days.
So... After being out for two whole days, we were all pretty tired (duh). But still, the heat cannot be tamed!!!! We just had to get out of our sauna-like house!
And so we did.
I thought we were going to Shang or SM Aura...
We ended up outside my bestfriend’s building!!! I had my earphones on while we were on the way, and then when we got there I asked my brother why we were there...
He said my dad had to buy something... And so i was like, okay...?
I then I texted my bestfriend and told her that we were parked outside and that i miss her.
Minutes later (after some time of looking down on my phone because social media...) I saw my mom standing outside the van with my bestfriend...
And of course i opened the door and called out to her...
My parents left me and Chubby with her, apparently we were sleeping over =))
I didn't have any clue of what was going on... Chubby had a bag with clothes in it.
I was definitely not ready for whatever was waiting in her condo let alone a sleep over!!! =)) I am one with specific needs (mostly hygienic)
When we got to her place she led me to her room and then...
SURPRISE!!!! My closest friends were there holding a cake, singing happy birthday <3 <3
That candle tho =)) They didn't have a birthday candle so they improvised HAHAHA!!
They bought a ton of drinks, like seriously there were 2 boxes =))
Good food (chips and 2am Mcdo French fries tho), drinks and Great company was the best way to cap off my birthday!

What i thought was a simple and just-another-day type of birthday turned out to be a birth(day) weekend!!! A 3-day celebration!!! <3

Last Friday, June 12 was Independence day, meaning NO SCHOOL!!!! *party dance woop woop*
What i know of that day was we were bringing my sister to the airport and then go somewhere cold (a mall of course, because the heat was freaking unbearable)...
After dropping my sister off, i (as one does) fell asleep. We got home pretty late on thursday night okay...
Some time later i woke up and...
WE WERE AT FCKING ENCHANTED KINGDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you read a previous post of mine, you will see that “Ride the Space Shuttle” is on that summer to-do/ bucket list... AND HERE WE ARE!!!
Let me tell you a short story...
I was about 8 years old or something and my older sisters rode the space shuttle tons!!! I asked my sister if i could come with them and she said i was too young still and that i’ll be allowed to ride it when i turn 10.
We came back on 2010 or 2011 for my sister’s birthday and i remember being super excited then because i was over 10 years old meaning i can ride the space shuttle!!! Turns out the ride was closed for renovation... :---(
Since then I've been wanting to go back. I was hoping to ride it before i turn 18... BUT THAT DOESN’T MATTER NOW!!!!
I didn't know they had a promo that weekend... It was an independence day promo. Instead of the usual entrance fee of 600 it was only 480! But I, being born in June, didn’t have to pay the fee and was FREE <3 The bracelet means it’s my birthday (month) :D
Like i said, the heat was terrible and so we ate lunch first. But i was so so so excited to ride the space shuttle, that right after we ate, Ate Kat and I went straight to the space shuttle. And because it was so hot, the line was close to none!! Which, according to my ate, is very rare.
My heart was racing, even as i was just still waiting for my turn. Because THIS WAS IT!!! MY FIRST RIDE EVER!!! After how many years of waiting, FINALLY!!!
Just so you know... It was definitely worth the wait <3
Btw, Ice Monster is still alive!!!! EK still has ice monster!!!

We were lined up for the space shuttle while watching this (Can’t ride it just once now can i? Haha!!)
We were also able to go on the Rio Grande just before the park closed :)
We were dripping wet but it was lots of fun nonetheless!
My first legit day as a nineteen year old was awesome! I wouldn't have it any other way :) I am super thankful to my family for giving me a 2-day birthday celebration!!

This day turned out to be more than what i thought it would. I can't even explain how happy and thankful i am!!

Yes, I got a blender from my parents for my birthday <3 So i can make my breakfast smoothies for on-the-go :)
My sister got me a fully booked gift card!! With all the books i want to buy i don't know which one to get first!! I must use this wisely =)) Thank you sister!! ^^
My sisters know how much i love Trident gum and bananas =)) So they got me these awesome Trident Layers (which taste AWESOME) and this super cute banana hoodie, both from bangkok :)
The night before, my mom bought me this outfit from forever21 :)
I wore it with my black ankle boots from H&M and my leather backpack from So Fab! :)
We had a lovely dinner at T.G.I. Friday’s Bonifacio Highstreet. I got a free scoop of ice cream ^^ After that we went to makati to get my cake from Costa Brava. It tasted heavenly AND it doesn't contain preservatives!! We got home and i blew my candle on my cake :) and I slept with a smile on my face and a thankful, happy heart :)
(meaning less social networking sites, sulking and procrastinating, MORE advanced reading, writing etc.)

(it can't always be my weakness, I just have to learn to make it my strength and it HAS to be SOONER than later)
3. REDUCE FAT
(Learn to say no to temptation!!! Food is your frenemy, do your best to choose the healthier option okay? AND EXERCISE!!!! Start loving yourself and do it a favor...)
4. Keep clean
(fix your drawers and let it stay that way... PLEASE AJ!! learn to be more organized, you're turning 19 for god's sake)
5. Use your time wisely
(MANAGE YOUR TIME AJ, time is in YOUR hands now. Use IT well.)
6. SAVE money SAVE your life
(now that the LRT and MRT fares have gone up YOU HAVE to use your money wisely. Use it on the things you really need, the necessary stuff!! Lessen your starbucks intake maybe....? You have to make sacrifices if you want to save. YOU CAN DO IT!)
7. Get rid of the old
(Sort out your things and throw away the unnecessary...EASY.)

I tried to keep a journal... I tried my best to write everything... But i'm just not the writing type or creative type. And so i'm back.
It is now twenty minutes to three in the morning of December 29th.
Yes, three more days till 2015!!!
One more week till school starts... To be honest, i have no idea what to feel. All i know is i have to GET THINGS DONE BEFORE NEW YEAR'S.
I've been at home for three days now and it feels like forever. I feel suffocated. Or maybe it's because i've been getting asthma attacks more frequently nowadays. i don't know.I just want to get out of this place. All i do is sleep and eat... I think i have an eating disorder... I've been eating non-stop and it's really bothering me.I feel the need to eat all the time, and as soon as i finish eating i feel sleepy. I've gained a lot i can feel it...
Ate Kat and I had a deal. NO fries, rice, chips, softdrink etc. in 2015!!! basically NO JUNK!!! WEW... I CAN DO THIS!!!
It's been more than two weeks since i last wrote in my journal... I'm too lazy to write... i used to be able to write everyday. Although i know they're not really sensible... (Did i use that word right?) I find that it's dragging to write in a journal...
There's a lot that happened... and i'm sure there's more to come!!! I'll continue tomorrow i promise! I should fix my things for now!
