I was so obsessed with self improvement for so long . I thought once I finally get “there” then I’ll feel ready .

That’s great girl . How are we gonna get there if we can’t even BE HERE right now ?

I think it’s so easy to fall into this trap of “when everything is perfect then I’ll start living my life” but ya can’t really achieve your goals if you dread your life constantly because you’ll self sabotage. Living from self hate is just gonna lead you to more self hate unfortunately. You have to find that future peace you imagine having after getting everything you want , within . And then no one can take it from you .
