AKIRA Secret Santa

Secret Santa gift for for @d3d9

This is my first time writing a fanfic. It turned to involve Tetsuo as well 😁

Kaneda was on the roof of the school, smoking a cigarette, while watching the city. He was skipping class, not that he was going to learn anything useful in this place. 

He was thinking about Tetsuo, who was at home because of the pain he was in. After the   accident it hasn't been the same, not only for Tetsuo but for Kaneda either. Their relationship changed.

He'd become increasingly worried about Tetsuo. He always worried about him but lately it was all he could do. Thinking about ways in which he could help his friends but it seemed like everything he did pushed Tetsuo farther away.

Kaneda missed when the days were simpler, when they were kids and could play together without worrying about what the world thought. Tetsuo used to be so sweet, so innocent, but life couldn't let him stay like that, he had to change. To harden so that he wouldn't get hurt. But still, he did get hurt.

His cigarette finished, he left the roof to go to the were his bike was parked. Kaneda needed to see Tetsuo. When he arrived at Tetsuo's place he let himself in with the spare key he stole some time ago.

Tetsuo was in his bed, under the blankets, even if it was a pretty warm day. He didn't notice Kaneda, or simply chose to not acknowledge him. Kaneda sat on the edge of the bed, still thinking about what he could say to his friend.

All of sudden Tetsuo turned to face him, his expression somber, there were tears in his eyes threatening to spill. He looked into Kaneda's eyes, searching for something. He seemed to find that something and reached for Kaneda, who without hesitation wrapped his arms around Tetsuo.

They hugged, holding tight onto each other. They didn't say anything. Their actions having more meaning than any attempt at talking could. They knew that no matter what happens in the future, they would still care for one another, nothing would change that.

This is my first time writing a fanfic. It's actually more the idea of it. I also procrastinated very hard and basically wrote this in little parts a couple days before and everything else I'm getting it done on January 1st at 11 pm lol. Also I have to clarify that English is not my first language.

But enough of that I hope you like it at least a little :3
