Reflection: This assignment enriched my understanding of type anatomy by emphasizing the intricate details of the typeface. By incorporating motion, I explored how type interacts with space and rhythm, transforming static letters into a dynamic narrative that elevates visual storytelling.
Tag Redesign
Assignment Brief: Copy an existing price tag and redesign it.
Reflection: Redesigning the price tag has enriched my understanding of how design elements like typography, color, and visual hierarchy can convey brand identity and improve user experience. It also highlighted the importance of clearly communicating information through text, ensuring that essential details are both accessible and engaging.

Reflection: Through this assignment, I learned how to depict a word using materials found in my environment. Additionally, while working on the magazine, I gained skills in effectively using grids for double-page spreads and managing extensive text while ensuring that images remain the focal point.
Expressive Typography
Assignment Brief: We had to create 3 experimental layouts for the chosen word and play with the expressive type/word and text to break grids and play with layouts in the given space.
Reflection: This assignment enabled me to creatively convey the mood and emotion of a word through visual representation. It encouraged me to think outside the box and express my ideas in unique ways.
Type as Image (Type Portraits)
Assignment Brief: Using our name we had to showcase: My name is …And I am a graphic designer, I love wild animals, I love Himalayas, I hate this exercise.
Reflection: I learned to express emotions through font, gaining insights into composition, hierarchy, and balance in the process. This exercise demonstrated the significant impact a font can have on visual communication.
Hand-lettering and Calligraphy
Assignment Brief:
Based on the demo session conducted in class we had to showcase our practice and skills.
We started by drawing straight lines and circles and then moved to alphabets and finally we had to write 'Type mera karm aur dharm hai'
Reflections: This assignment taught me to keep my hands steady and understand letter construction. This practice has significantly sharpened my fine motor skills and attention to detail.

Assignment Brief: We all were given a typeface and we had to research on it and gain information about it.
Font Assigned: Optima
Reflection: This assignment helped me recognize different typefaces, provided a new perspective on how to view them, and taught me to differentiate between similar typefaces.
Scavenger Hunt
Assignment Brief: Based on the session conducted in the class, we were asked to create an outcome on the vocabulary developed. For this, we created a video.
Reflection: While working on this assignment, I began to see typography differently. I started categorizing the types I encountered and further explored their anatomical features.
