aaron knew he was famous, but he felt like he got graced with the right kind of famous; he was able to live his life and still be able to do what he was passionate about. as kids, we all wanted attention and to be in the spotlight, but it wasn't until you're older to completely absorb the whole image of it and what a nightmare it was. not being able to feel like you were normal and live life without feeling like it stopped because you left the house. which drew him away from the idea once he was older and decided to take another career path, but then took a chance. in the end, it worked out for him. he never saw in his eyes he'd be seen enough to be able to be recognized by someone like margot. it was flattering, but also intimidating.
in the corner of his eye, he saw a figure, knowing it was margot instantly before his eyes focused in the new perspective. was that stardom? sensing a presence before they even make themselves known? or was it because he was infatuated by this woman within the short period of time of meeting her? margot just had something about her. he most enjoyed the teasing back and forth between them, making him more comfortable with talking to someone. he couldn't do the casual conversation, and he had always been like that. casual felt friendly, but awkward to the extent that it was off putting when it came to dating and small talk was what kept a conversation going. it was boring, and margot certainly wasn't boring when she made him nervous, but easy to keep a conversation with and it just became intoxicating to keep their teenage flirting going.
at her compliment, he looked down at his suit- as if he hadn't just been standing in a mirror making sure that he actually looked good and double checking at least three times to make sure he put on socks. "yeah, well....i told you so." he smirked, leaning in to press his lips to her check. "you look ravishing. you definitely out beat me." maybe aaron needed this. someone that got him excited enough to worry about what he looked like instead of choosing the homeless route. his eyes lingered to her feet, a small chuckle passing his lips. "what is it about women and heels? they're just a death wish, sweetie." his next move took a lot of thought when he planned a nice walk, but not wanting to put her through the bleeding and blisters for the next week. "how about we take those death traps off now and call a cab?" he suggested. "i guess i can be your mule for the night while walking in and out of places."
