The simple beginnings and silliness, the pain of the middle where his memories returned, and the slow realisation of beginning to discover the world for what it is, and the peaceful end, where he discovers the voice of the world as it is now. At peace. I hope you enjoy having a listen.

I put this off for years, but because coming here is... painful.

I have a lot of memories with this blog, and a lot of the people who I once knew here, those that were there for this blog, are gone. So... I put it off for a long time.

But, now that I'm starting to bow out, I decided it was time.

To those who are still here, thank you. I hope the ending was everything you hoped.

another thing about kill la kill. the show is so fucking sneaky. you're watching it and it's all high strung, lightning paced, balls to the fucking wall action and comedy. and then you think back on an episode and you're like "woah one of satsuki's earliest memories is her father telling her she will wear Junketsu (purity) on her wedding night, a garment that can only be activated by the spilling of blood. and this act of blood being spilled will give her a unique form of power that necessitates her being naked and unashamed of her body. but she is being told it can only happen on her wedding night. and then she sees another teenage girl using HER garment, Senketsu (fresh blood), and becoming empowered in her own body without being married. and it infuriates her so deeply she spills blood on her own purity in order to reach higher levels of power. and then she beats that other girl to a pulp. because unlike that other girl, she actually fully embodies what it means to be naked and to be unashamed. this is actually the first step of that character reclaiming her own body after a lifetime of sexual trauma." and that all happens in episode TWO. and it looks like THIS

I saw this while scrolling through Instagram. It was a post on profile jojo.nick_wilde. Not sure if they’re the original artist or who is, but know that I think it’s amazing work! This crossover was too cute not to share. I love how Judy and Carmelita are super serious about finding their counterparts while Maid Marian and Diane are like, “Yeah, I know where you are, and I still love you, babe.”

Makes me think of a couple of posts I did a few years ago discussing what I think a crossover among these characters would look like:
