so... my brother put up fairy lights in my room last night and i don’t think i’ll ever turn them off now.

Suunesha was a martial priestess on her homeworld of Shili. She was considered ‘chosen’ at birth due to her peculiar skin color and markings. She started her training at a very early age and spent her entire life studying her culture, performing rituals and helping healers and elder priests and priestesses in everyday tasks.

yes, that definitely looks like she was touched by one of the goddesses!! so much white ᛊ:0 and black marks on her montrals and lekku, now that's fascinating. look at that headpiece! honestly, i'm floored. it's not that usual to see one that elaborate. she's beautiful,, and she may be a martial priestess, but her eyes look so kind and wise and bright! i wonder what she's like to talk to.

also, the red grasses behind her! i wonder which part of shili she's from. ghe vhee tah, priestess suunesha!

don't ya just. don't ya just LOVE loth cats. i sure do. love just standing there in the kitchen waiting for my akul to cook and this little beast walks in and, while holding eye contact, claws apart the wires for holonet. i've been sitting there for two weeks, thinking of whether to even go through with the thirty days of drawing! well, i decided against it, courtesy of dear Shameless Furry Bastard over here, and the fact that i just. eh. lost the sense of routine i suppose? maybe i'll try next year! twelve days are still enough, no?

turu for today! excellent plant. love it. togrutas will tell you it’s for camo (and it is), but togruta kids specifically will tell you it can heal any wound if you just press it on a bruise or tear hard enough. even though it has pretty much no healing properties. i don’t know what shili-made meds are from, but it’s definitely not turu grass, lol. it’s a placebo i’d say. i still look for the nearest tuft whenever i get a small papercut or something ᛊ:’>

i figured i’d continue ahead with more famous people from shili, haha ᛊ:’) so, knight ahsoka tano, am i right! also know as “that jedi girl leh'na wouldn’t shut up about for, like, a year” by my parents and Bastard Brother. i had the Biggest crush. still do, a little bit. or the wish to admire from a distance, rather. the jedi frighten me a bit. ᛊ:’>

finally, the tenday is completed! two more to go, haha. anyway, this is my tribute to kirames kaj, the chancellor of the galactic senate before finis valorum ! ᛊ:> she was one of the most just, least power-hungry chancellors, and tbh i still have a bit of a crush on her. when i was a kid, i remember being fascinated mostly with how neat her marks were - i thought she must’ve been picked by the goddesses for something other than hunting, with that type of order literally ingrained into her skin. and it seems i was right! heheh. i know she runs an arts academy somewhere on shili now, and i know that if i wasn’t signed up for coruscant, i’d give that a shot.

well, not to say i’m excited, but... i’m excited to be going. i don’t speak perspective and don’t pretend i do, but gosh am i going to be staring at/drawing/taking pictures of the landscape once i’m on planet? it’s marvelous. i just wanted to have something pre-drawn.

yehsa da! day seven ! figured i’d want a drawing of where i used to live when i was a kid once i move to coruscant, so i made a trip with a pencil and some flimsi there today. got to know a few kids that live there now ᛊ:’> i miss that house a little bit. me and my brother would always go out at dusk and watch one of the moons rise because it looked like it was coming right out of the roof ᛊ:D my grandparents were traditionalists heheh

yehsa da! pheww, i’m tired. headdress making is over, i can finally sleep for two days straight heheh! here, have that cousin i mentioned - i missed out on three days because of him, what a bastard. on the other hand, he’s got a serious case of chronic babyface and i don’t think i can stay mad at him for long.

yehsa da! very quick sketch on a sticky note today on account that this is literally all the free time i’ll get the next two days ᛊ:’> i’m tasked with fixing a headdress for my cousin. can you believe this guy - actively went out to search for a second akul as his first had its teeth damaged in the fight - and found one. and killed it. an icon. and now he wants me to attach the new teeth to his headdress. kriff it all, i’m the happiest little cousin in the world. i’m gonna need that sticky note as a reminder overmorrow! ᛊ:DD

yehsa da !! today i have a wonderful person to thank - that would be my coordinator! ghe vhee tah, lady nak’ktia. would’ve never made it to the coruscant waiting list without her, so thank you again, my friend! i’ll be bringing her this drawing so i can ask her if she likes it, and she sees with her hands. that’s why the pen lines are so hard;  hehe :>

yehsa da! for the second day, i’m drawing my brother’s girlfriend specifically because my brother wanted me to draw him first and i am a Bastard Sister. it is what it is. on an unrelated note, i’ve got a mirialan to apologize to for completely butchering her tattoos now.

yehsa da! i’ve come across the fact that apparently some people on coruscant consider the coming thirty days the yearly period to make art each day to better themselves, and i thought, hey! i’m all about getting better at things. i decided i’d try too, since i’m moving to the core soon! i don’t have a list to follow, so i suppose i’ll just draw things i find fun. for the first day, it’s me, leh’na!  ᛊ:>>>!!!
